markusvt
Saturday, January 18, 205 mile Zenon Loop Only had 1 day to spare, so we took the 3 hour ride north to check out what the rain had done. To the south of Zenon it was rock hard and iced in the turns pretty good, to the north was pretty darn nice. Still tons of snow. Lots of traffic too, maybe 200-300 oncoming sleds all day. Not sure but we passed more in the first 10 miles than I had seen for the first 1200 miles on my sled. But it was nice out, and there was snow. We did the 23 to Real Masse, then the 63 over to Coin Lavigne, then 33 north to the old cafeteria for lunch and gas, (nice to have it open!). 33 was perfect the whole way. Then over to Lac Tareau, then 360 to the dam, 345 back to Cabano, 23 back to La Glacier. Plenty of snow on top for slider lube. Put on some fresh carbides and head on up, there is a TON of riding. On the sides of the trail in some spots it is still waist deep! Edited January 22, 2014 by markusvt
