You will see for yourself Mario.

For big trails and speed it's Abitibi.

For the Views and Technical riding Gaspe hands down.

Left Maniwaki at 10am took the west side of 63 to Classic, trails 7/10 , then 63 to Domaine, a little choppy, had lunch there then off to 63/386 intersection and down to La Veranderye 158 miles, pulled up at 4pm. only 2 other sledders for the the night. Tommorow we head out to ville marie and plan to meet up with snowfarmer! weatherwise it was great, but looks like a warmup next 2 days, hopefully the trails will hold up, also the owner here said they are down to the last tank of gas, they are hoping to make it though this month.

yesterday , we left La Verandrye 8:30 , 63 was good all the way to Bellterre, then a little rough to ville marie and ran into groomer before arriving at La Bannik at 3:45. Snowfarmer showed up at 4:45 and we had a great dinner together. After breakfast they will be heading back to ontario, we will attempt la sarre, they are predicting some rain so we will adjust as we go. Calling for 6 degrees today, 2 tomorrow, then -2 thursday, trails should hold up, parking lots will melt.

Day3. Left ville marie at 8:45 after saying goodby to Dave and Nora and took the local 303 north as directed by snowfarmer, good choice, great trail all the wat to just before Rouyn Noranda then it went bad, groomer must be down. Improved more north on the way to La Sarre, the groomer had just been past but with the heat the top of the hills and woops were bare and the groomer was doing more damage than good. Pulled into La Sarre at 4:00 with a major meltdown in town, they are expecting rain tonight, then freezing right after with cooler temps tomorrow, we shall see. Tomorrow we will aim at Amos for lunch, then val dor for the night

Looks like a nice cozy little Pourevoirie that La Verendrye, have to stop in some day, we always blast by it for the reserve as we really haven't had the need to stop in for gas.

Nice to have the chance to ride with your loved ones and group up with other couple sharing the same passion, you guys are real lucky,

Safe ride Mario and enjoy

Day 4, it rained all night here in la Sarre so we decided to venture out and see if we could still reach val dor. Trails were very icy (need scratchers) but they improoved as we went more east on 93 towards Amos. Apon arriving at amos we decided to switch to plan B and attempt to reach la Verandrye for the night to shorten Thursday so we took 307 down to 83, local trails below val dor back onto 83 then down 386, and we pulled into la Verandrye at 6:30 with 272 miles, and a very tired wife! 93 before Amos was petfect, 386 was perfect the whole way, but you could feel the trails are. more icy as you go more south. Tomorrow will be 166 back to truck

Just to clarify, the north is good, but all the way west, Noyan to Lasare it was warmer and the trails took a toll. It was colder more east so the rain turned to snow sooner, so halfway to Amos the trails are great, just a little more icyer as you go south.
