Kind a like you have to pass the bill to see what's in it. We have a governor who wanted more hospital beds, he got a ship and never used it. Instead sent positive people to nursing homes and killed half the older people in it. Then said they were old and were going to die anyway.

Fauci: Hydroxychloroquine not effective against coronavirus

Fauci: Hydroxychloroquine not effective against coronavirus

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci on Wednesday became the first Trump administration official to say definitively that hydroxychloroquine is not an effective treatment for the coronavirus, based on the available data.

"The scientific data is really quite evident now about the lack of efficacy," Fauci — the U.S. government's top infectious disease expert — said on CNN.

But he stopped short of calling for an outright ban of the drug, which President Trump said he was taking last week as a preventative measure after a top White House aide was diagnosed with the coronavirus.

Fauci's comments come days after the Lancet published a 96,000-patient observational study that concluded that hydroxychloroquine had no effect on Covid-19 and may have even caused some harm.

France decided this week to ban the use of hydroxychloroquine, even in clinical trials, and the WHO has paused its clinical trials of the drug.

There is no data yet from randomized, controlled clinical trials of hydroxychloroquine — the gold standard for evaluating potential treatments. But Fauci was unequivocal on Wednesday, saying that "the data are clear right now."

So which is it???

A good politician can usually stand up and talk, for a long time, and never answer the question, or talk so long that you forget what the question was, or just talk in a big circle, and never answer the question. So then you get to go home, maybe confused, and tune in the television to the channel that says what you want to hear, really amazing. Then you wonder why so many people are doing something different, everyone pulling the rope in a different direction. In the mean time, back at the ranch, more people have died than in the entire Vietnam war, in 10 weeks!!! Cannot wait for this to be over, and get back on the trail enjoying the important part of this game, LIVING!!

Fauci said it isn't effective ? OK.

Isn't he the same person who advised to leave the borders from China to the US open end of January ?

Didn't he say to us with such authority that masks weren't effective too ?

And that China should be commended for their response to the virus and their virus control ?

And spewed highly inaccurate death estimate models he backed that he repeatedly backed with vigor ?

Just saying.

This drug is not the silver bullet....but thats not the issue with it. Meantime, Its as good as anything we have in some cases.

The problem:

1. It Cost pennies and is already very readily available. Big Pharma HATES that. They smear it.

2. Trump mentioned it, so the Never-Trumper further lost their minds and of course HATE it even if it cured cancer.

We are all much much smarter now. The media will always show the handful of idiots. For us, Move forward smartly and carefully...but lets Flatten The Fear.

Enough of the fear mongering, lies, and slanted hysteria on both sides of the issues. Americans are smart and practical people with the exception of our entrenched and hateful politicians. Enough with the hate.

How about we hate China instead of drugs or other Americans that don't agree with our viewpoint ?

This was Monday in my little town here in Maine. Thanks to my Dad and all our incredible veterans. Happy Memorial Day !

The CDC admitted they screwed up COVID19 infection counts and INTENTIONALLY misled the public and have apologized, clarifying that the amount of people truly infected is much lower than what was originally reported

An error so egregious it made the director of the Harvard Global Health Institute say, “How could the CDC make this mistake? This is a mess."

The American Coronavirus Task Force also admitted to fudging the National COVID19 death count when Dr. Birx said the deaths are people who died “with” COVID19 not “from” COVID19, thus making the real death count much lower than what is currently being reported

Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted masks won’t help against the virus and mask manufacturers are now including warnings that their products do not deter COVID19. He also said that continuing to close the country could cause irreparable damage.

CDC backtracked their initial claim that led governors to shutdown their states & clarified that COVID19 does not spread easily on surfaces.

Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo confirmed a recent health study showing that 70% of new infections actually originate at home, thus making stay at home orders one of the most dangerous mandates currently in place.

Trump stopped funding the WHO and threatened to cut off money permanently until they can prove they are no longer corruptly influenced by communist China after they lied to our country about human to human transmission of COVID19 in January

The curve is flattened, the CDC, WHO, Dr. Fauci, our governors, and many more were completely wrong about the potential threat of this virus. Even California is opening up sooner than anyone expected because the evidence contradicts the long standing and inaccurate narrative still upheld by the extremely dishonest & corrupt media

People called those of us who knew this all along conspiracy theorists, but it turns out we were just following the facts!

Open up your businesses, churches, and homes. Don’t fall for the lies any longer. If you fell for the lies this time, wake up and join the army of truth seekers fighting on the front lines.

The #CDC just confirmed a .2% death-rate for #COVID19 ...

For that, we have:

* Added nearly 6 trillion to national debt

* Laid-off or furloughed 50 million workers

* Placed 60 million on food stamps

* Gone from 3.5%to 14.7% unemployment

* Crippled the petroleum industry

* Ruined the tourism industry

* Bankrupted the service industry

* destroyed food industries and supply chains

* Threatened, fined, and arrested church leaders

* Exacerbated mental health problems skyrocketing RX drugs

* Shut down schools and colleges

* Given unbridled power to unelected officials

* Increased suicides

* Delayed surgeries and treatments for profound illnesses

* Infringed upon countless important civil liberties

* Placed 300 million Americans on house arrest

These consequences are largely due to two things:

The first is our view of government as a god that can control Providence and plagues. In our hubris, we increasingly view the government as a deity who can stop acts of nature.

The second is our sniveling, 21st-century commitment to safety. Our desire to be “safe” ruined our fiscal, physical, medical, food, energy, and national security.

Unfortunately there is no vaccine for cultural fragility.”

Don't know or care about the political Bull Shit but President Trump said if he didn't do what he did we would have lost 1 million people or more. The economy will rebound. America always comes back from any disaster, man made or otherwise.

I am against murder by police

I am in favor of any and all peaceful Protests

Throwing bricks/rocks or anything at Police and burning and looting is unacceptable.  This is not protesting, it’s rioting.  BIG DIFFERENCE.

Then the police react and the sheep cry “you see they are using brutality” we are simply protesting. Bullshit. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Don’t get me started on Minneapolis Police abandoning the 3rd precinct and letting the “protesters” burn it.  Bad move there. Just empowered them even more.

Police need to take back the streets and it’s that simple.

There are....

good cops and bad cops

good doctors and bad doctors

good teachers and bad teachers

good parents and bad parents

good plumbers and bad plumbers

good roofers and bad roofers

good riders and bad riders

get my drift?

you cannot lump all police in one group and call them all racist and corrupt it’s just not so.

Finally they need to charge all the cops involved in Floyd’s murder not just the one they have now. The three others are also guilty of watching it happen and doing nothing.

Now the “protesters” are demanding the states and cities to defund the police.

Really?

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Friggin brilliant.

Tell me....How do these people find their way home? Can’t be easy to go through life being that ignorant.

I've about had it with these Governor's giving this ridiculous movement to disband law enforcement TRACTION!!!

Yes there are serious problems throughout the country with how CERTAIN officers preform there duties, and absolutely this needs to change without question.IMO

This is just insanity!!!!!!
