FOR SALE - Casey Base Camp CSQ4
It has been quite an adventure over the past six years building Casey Base Camp, restoring the CSQ4 airfield to the CFS, organizing AeroVenture, and operating the snowmobile relay for three winters.
I had the opportunity to meet lots of wonderful people and made a bunch of new friends in the process.
Casey is close to my heart, and it has been quite an adventure. The weeks away from my family, the long hours of work during the summer, the blood, sweat, and tears throughout the year (I got hurt more times than I can remember, nothing that duct tape couldn't fix 🤣), sometimes entire weeks in the rain without seeing anyone (before Starlink), despite all that, we built it!
Today, I am officially announcing that I am putting Casey CSQ4 Base Camp up for sale. The sale includes everything, namely:
- Airport infrastructure: runway, taxiway, and tarmac.
- Base Camp infrastructure (buildings, domes, etc.).
- AeroVenture and associated equipment.
- Contract with SOPFIM.
- Transfer of the land lease with MERN.
In other words, everything related to the airfield that is needed to continue and grow Casey CSQ4 Base Camp. There is enormous potential, and it will be up to the torchbearer to take over and take the airfield to the next level.
