This essential 288-foot structure will restore access to the TQ-5 snowmobile trail and TQ-30 ATV trail, ensuring continuity of traffic between several key areas of the region.
Closed in November 2024 for safety reasons, the new bridge will be a strategic link in the Gaspé Peninsula's trail networks, directly contributing to the vitality of winter tourism.
"This project will benefit not only the off-road vehicle community, but also the entire community, including local businesses and enterprises. The reconstruction of this infrastructure demonstrates how regional cooperation and collaboration are conducive to the economic and tourism development of the Gaspé Peninsula," said Stéphane Desroches, Executive Director of the FCMQ.
