Great reports and pictures. Love following along.
Really enjoy riding northern New Brunswick, NE of Edmunston and Moose Valley and all accessible from RDL.
Last year spend 3 weeks in the RDL, NB, Gaspe areas. Saw 31 moose total. Only seen about 10 the previous years riding. Use to hope we would see some moose, now l hope we never see another one again. Can sure slow up a day especially later in the winter when the snow gets deep. I’m not a hunter but l would say the moose population is out of control in the Mont Carleton Provincial park. I’m not sure if they allow any hunting there or not. I’m sure some of the tree huggers would say snowmobiles are bad for the wildlife. I would speculate a lot of those moose would starve to death or be much easier to be taken down by wolves if the moose didn’t have the snowmobile trails to browse along later in the winter when then snow gets deep.
Question for you Mike or anyone else that has been to Hotel Universal this winter:
Sure last spring l saw an article that the Universal was doing a large expansion/ renovation this past summer. Did that happen and if it has did it effect the truck parking any.?
