SRSchang got a reaction from nyskidooerinnewhampshire in Where am I?
The first time my wife and I stayed there, we saw the trail went right up the river. Being a bit nervous about this, we stopped in the Skidoo dealer to ask directions. They affirmed that the trail was on the river. I decided we would find a "Safer" route to the hotel. All I can remember is riding through town on the main streets, waving to the cars stopped beside us at the traffic lights. An embarrassing moment, but we made it to the hotel and left via the river in the morning.
Lots of fellow snowmobilers got a big laugh over that story in the bar that night!

I think a couple miles off 587 near St. Irene. Those steps up the observation tower are nasty!

Easy one.
Sidenote - my buddy with the gray hat fractured his foot going UP the stairs into this fine establishment later that night. He rode three more days after that to finish the trip - a real trooper. Don't think his wife ever heard how it really happened.😂

SRSchang got a reaction from PLAYHARD in More beaver action
Two years ago on our way up to Matagami, this guy really fought to get the branch down into his beaver lodge. it was a warm rainy 35 degree day, just restocking the pantry I guess.
