  1. Yes some of them are pretty bizarre translations.
  2. I am not doing the translations, FB is, or someone from the club is using google translator or something. They are trying. I usually just read the version en français.👍🏻
  3. Just Posted Diable et Rouge open all their trails tomorrow.
  4. Copied from FB Diable et Rouge club.
  5. http://www.quebecrider.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5558-speeding-fines/ If you do 458 mile days up here, be prepared for the possibility of mandatory contributions, just saying,😁
  6. Did mine by mail for the first time this year, usually I just go to the local bar and or plumbing shop both sell for my club. I was surprised, it was here in 4-5 days, but that is from QC to QC address.
  7. Maybe your right, hey I don’t make the laws, I only live here.
  8. I believe the rationale is: you get caught doing something illegal, your going to pay something towards helping those who have been hurt or victimized by an illegal act. Who knows if it actually makes it into a special fund or just dumped into the government coffers.
  9. The contribution portion is a mandatory contribution to a crime victims fund.
  10. Gee, maybe I should be thankful the trail is still disconnected from St Donat to Tremblant. Thieves tend to go were it is busy and the best selection, quiet in comparison here.
  11. Laurentiens never got going, good snow base, but we were waiting for lakes creeks and swampy areas to freeze before opening trails. The rain has pretty much Destroyed any snow base. Cold and snow in that order is needed.
  12. It’s a catch 22 situation IMO. Use the trail and pay the extra fee and if it is successful the powers that be will be looking at this wondering if extra fees could be applied elsewhere as well, or say no way with the extra hoops to jump through and avoid it, proving or providing amo to those who don’t want trails in parks that the trail is not needed or there is not enough snowmobile traffic in the area to warrant keeping it open.
  13. When I noticed the irregularities in my area, I emailed them. The response was something like, we try to have the latest info from clubs and local riders giving us info and did I wish to be an adviser for my area. Trying I guess but how do you keep a mapping program current With all the season to season changes unless you consult the governing bodies of the different state / Provence’s and their latest trail info. Anyway certainly better than the old days no maps and the odd sign mostly pointing to a watering hole.
  14. Not sure on that Polaris app, it may be good to check it against the latest paper from FCMQ map or I motoneige. Reason I mention this is I had a Polaris app a few years back, now it may not be the same platform as you have but it was seriously out of date when I down loaded it. Just in my area of the laurentiens it showed at least 2 trails that had been closed and non existent for a few years and and one newer trail was not on there.
  15. Had this issue with a I phone 4S a few years back updating I motoneige from one year to the next. Phone was not compatible with the NEWER App. Up graded my phone and no issues to date.Guess just like computers as newer models and advancements come along, they can’t or don’t produce programs or apps that are compatible with both older and newer software / hardware.
  16. Am I missing something?, I don’t see one atv in those pics.
  17. Just voted as I have every day and now have my wife voting too. I am seeing a pattern here, Mark trails by 1/2 to 1 %, every time I vote the score goes up by .1 %. If his rival has the same amount of buddies voting for him each day he will alway come out about 1% on top at the end of the day. We need maybe 10-20 more people voting to tip the scales assuming his rival does not get any extra people voting for him.
  18. We are lucky in the laurentiens, had a fair bit of snow on the ground and the ground was frozen 4 inches deep.( I know I had to dig / defrost holes for my tempos hold down spikes ). It was down below zero F several night last week and the lake froze over. I always hope that we don’t get much snow once it freezes and cold weather to build thickness. Then it rained a few days and they announced big snow accumulations for here. I thought we’re screwed still ice on the lake and the ground is soggy again. Both will not freeze well. Big surprise, hardly any snow maybe 1/4 inch fell and almost all the previous snow has melted. Yeah, we get a do over here.
  19. Looks just too pretty to pump poop! Very impressive.
  20. What? Residents of Quebec can not apply for the insurance rebate?
  21. Will the real Triggerhappy QR member please stand up!😁😁😁😁
  22. Mother nature’s crew was out working on the pot hole.
