Hey Chris ……another “Chris” here from NY. Haven’t met you yet but hope to someday. Thanks much for posting the reports/pics. It’s nice to see there is still some adequate snow somewhere in Quebec…LOL
I’ve ridden crazy amounts of miles on the 93 over the years and can see by the pics they are WAY low on snow as everywhere else this year. I was looking at past years pics last night and have many that show 2-3 times the amount IN MID DECEMBER!!
At least it’s enough so you guys are getting a decent ride in. My guess is (and hope I’m wrong) you’re going to have a lot more challenging time on the 83 circling back around.

Some Chris dude has been on FB and riding the general area and has said trails good. Pictures attached with white snow as well , bonus!!

Out on a 3 day bash. La Tuque to Pourvoirie la Dore via 73 , 355 , local ,  93 .. left turn to pourvoirie.  All pretty decent,  good snow  , low snow,  logging , Feeder to the run up lac Eduard groomed ! .. no deal breakers.  

Oh , Rolled this moon rock out of the center of trail  !

Ya I reserved this weekend and next weekend over a month ago.

Here are some pics from last weekend. Another 600 miles of smiles.  The most snow I have seen so far this season, but still not quite enough in spots.  TQ83 is really having a rough season.

We are at the Delta but we booked it a month ago.  Last year we couldn't get a Wednesday night too.
Try La Sagueneenne in Chicoutimi 800-461-8390.  Bar, restaurant and pool.  It changed ownership a few years ago so I can't say good or bad.  It is on a spur off of 83 about 1 mile in.  The spur ends at the backside of the Hotel.
There is an Ultramar on the spur.  Turn right just before the back of the Ultramar.  Follow the trail behind the businesses then it crosses route 175 under the power line.  La Cage and Comfort Inn is to you right.
Continue on the sidewalk and follow the tracks.  You are almost there.
La Montagnais is also over there but not quite accessible by sled.
