  1. Don I don't know what Tabermack is. Could you fill me in? Alain I hope the wind changes and blows the ice out for you. There was no service today. Andy I read your post back when. It was on my mind when making reservations. I took pictures of the cost guard smashing ice to kill the time.
  2. We left Port-Cartier headed to Baie-Comeau. I had a 5 o'clock ferry reservation. When we got to Godbout and saw the line at the ferry that should have sailed already. I went in to check on the schedule. I was told 5 o'clock was canceled to get on now at Godbout. We sailed at 12:30. At 6:00 1 mile from Matane we sailed back to Baie-Comeau. The ice breaker was there but there was too much ice. 6 days of plans and reservations canceled. Time to regroup.
  3. Iceman thanks . Sept-Iles to Port Cartier was an absolute dream perfect. We are off to the Orange Baie-Comeau trail and to the ferry. Mike I have photos.
  4. Markusvt I have a back seat driver that says scratch this off the bucket list 😃 I think it was my one shot. We are going to the Gaspe today.
  5. I tried to make Havre-Saint-Pierre yesterday. It was slow going east of Sept-Iles. I had 25 miles to go when I got stuck in a ditch on the horrid Ungroomed unmarked trail. When I got out there was no day light left in blowing snow. I had to stay at longue-Pointe-de- Mingan. We broke trail back to Sept-Iles today. I found a pice of luggage I dropped yesterday. We saw no one either way. My hats off to you guys. It's a tough journey.
  6. Thanks Don. Gemmas all wired up. She says hi. Have fun out west.
  7. We just got off the big orange circle above Forestville. My gauge was showing -11F. Ice in the mask. It's cold in paradise.

  17. I just got it. It works fine for me. Has anyone sent tracks to him for changes? 386 north to 63 was not there last season. The trail went to La Verendrye.
  18. Wow that's some difference. Half the gas makes a great touring machine. Scenery and miles are way more important than speed on the trails in my opinion. Best of luck with it. Thanks Jim
