Quick up date,  just had a  message from JD . Bill is now been moved into the surgical ward he is still on oxygen but is making good progress and getting out of bed .She is hoping they will let him out of hospital for this next weekend .  So fingers crossed 👍
Great  news  we've  just heard Bill should be discharged some time today....    so let's hope  so 🤞🤞🤞

Prayers for a speedy painless recovery but we know it will not be  ..  GOOD LUCK... cause ST. Pats day did not help.

hi Alain,  my impressions of my gt. was ok but few problems , never did like seating position front or rear seat..but loved heated seats and i had the adjustable backrest which was very good ,  Carbides were not my favorite with the adjustment,, my  exped. i changed when brand new , for 6 inch from Qualti- piece.    i did go thru 3 reverse motors before i sold it ..Exped. had better seat position and more room for pass. and easy removal with box underneath..900 was good but missed top speed a few times , gas gauge was not accurate on  both.. Handling was good on exped , better than i expected with 20 x 154 .. i would order another one .. just gt had big ice buildup so u had to try to get some out at night before u put to sleep...wooden hammer and backup a few times ,, you must make sure you do not get too much ice on the air hose to the rear susp. or it will break..

Lac Blanc Loop
knowing fair well it was the open door weekend and that Sunday temps would be too warm for nice trail. We got up early Saturday and decided to head out and ride just until noon. We knew a storm was coming and that did not bother us at all. Left 7am and being first day of free weekend everything was groomed up. TQ3 to Shawinigan Sud and it was set up nice. Surely we were not the only early birds with the same idea but all the others were headed the other way. Beautiful trail all the way to River in Grand Mere and we cross and join a just as beautiful trail the TQ23. Smooth sailing all the way to the 350 and down into Lac Blanc. As we arrive there it just starts snowing. We take a quick break and in comes more sleds and then more and more. It’s time to beat feet and get out of here. 
Still great trail but lots of folks riding right up the middle. I got a fix for these people. When I see someone coming at me using it all, I crowd it right over onto the middle and make them decide if they want to move over or not. Cause I aint flinching. My wife is loving the show as I move left  to crowd these morons and give them a taste of their own medicine. I move left and slow down almost to a stop and they don’t seem to understand but they slow down and move over. Most were well behaved all along the route but a few needed some discipline and they got it. Big wide trail and they cannot ride the right needs to be right up the middle. That’s weekend riding. 
Snowing heavier now and we join back onto the TQ63 and just outside Charette near St Paulin we find the checkpoint. Just checking stickers no looking at paperwork so its stop and go. Another Great teaching moment for the Mrs today. Snowing and in the big fields she says wow cannot see anything. I explained to her to concentrate on the red sticks, telling her fortunately here they are plentiful and yes while it’s snowing heavily at least there is not much wind. Which would make it much more difficult to find sticks. She gained alot of respect for riding in conditions not so perfect. We continue Back to St Etienne and back to TQ3 to run back to the house. Great ride.

I have seen some icing on front lower section but its  open in cold and freezes the breath and won't close all the way and gets more ice  ...never seen the ice around the hinge..

We decided to put this trip off by a few weeks.  Still a lot of good riding to be had at home.  I did talk to the LE DÉLICE MOTEL RESTAURANT tonight and recieved a very welcoming "you're always welcome in the Gaspe" response.  So we may just stop there.  It doesn't look terrible at all.  Not high end but that's ok.  
One more question.  What is the best place to stay in Amqui?  Looking at maybe leaving from there instead of Matane.

Motel Chandler is good place and good food ,  new richmond has a couple good places .   copper is ok but wife might not.

Great Helmets! I have 4... First shields were iffy... should be good to go now.
Keep a copy of the original receipt tucked into the helmet, Dealers may not honor warranty without it.
-Plug in, turn on high, 5 minutes later you can back it down with no issues!
-Your face may get warm if you leave it on high.
-Like smclelan said, get an extra cord.

Run it on high heat and open the vents.  I run this way 95% of the time with no issues and quit playing with the heat settings.  In warm weather I may turn the heat down and run with the shield cracked slightly.  If the sun visor starts fogging just crack the shield for a minute and it will clear without giving you much of a draft.  Then you can seal the visor up again if you want.  I wear a balaclava if it hits 20 below Celsius, but just the neck curtain for Temps above 20 below.  If 30 below you might need to add something more around your neck, but that's not common for most rides.  Great helmet.  I'd never go back to anything else.  Congrats on a great purchase.

Nice video Alain .  I got ride report from cnc .Tremblant area .Yesterday and he said ,  No base at all  and trails tore up by noon and bumpy with 3 times the normal traffic with some yahoos  4 wheelers and sleds..

UPDATE i just received notice that he has been found  dead, and i reposted on my FB. page..

we are not making it easier to keep trails,, they will learn when they can only ride in there back yard...hope all is good cnc. down here all our lakes are still closed so SPECIAL people will just not care and run all over
