Yes, that was Quebec Bob. I thought it was a supercharger as well , it was a turbocharger and it was much faster then a 850! Imagine that! I wrote that sled once when we did a Gaspe trip and I was laughing in my helmet when I punched it unreal. Hopefully you'll still be there on the 8th. Would love to see you as well! You're absolutely right about Dave (farmer old) I remember we had just finished a ride up at the Delta and we were at the gas station filling up, and I turned around to see a sled doing donuts in the parking lot and thought it was some kid and it was Dave! He rides like he's 20! LOL

Brand new sleds and you still can't trust them. Maybe they should come out with a warranty that when your sled breaks down they deliver another one to you within 24 hours and pick yours up to repair it. Sorry for your troubles.

I like your idea, wait the Storm Out and head back on Friday towards chez ice and hopefully you get as close to home as possible to save Taxi/ flatbed/waiting time. But I definitely wouldn't ride farther away... jmo

I wouldn't trust any finger, hand signal or light. And if you do you're crazy. The correct way to ride is the pretend there's a groomer over every Crest and around every corner. Keep your hands on the bars!

Wow, sad news! They should have bought you a better groomer and you might have done it a few more years... everyone will miss your pictures and stories! You truly put a lot of pride into your work and it's hard to find people like that, so they will definitely feel it for sure. I've read all your posts almost every day since you started posting, always saving them for last so I could look at your pictures the longest! Only stayed there once, and there was a 6 inch hole in the floor right at the entrance to the bathroom and you could see dirt 10 inches below.

The big problem was where to put your stuff once you took it all off LOL

Other than a burger the food there is terrible but considering where it is, you can't complain... I guess It was 25 below outside so somewhere warm to sleep made up for it. Besides we need these little places in the middle of nowhere. Better to support them. The tiniest room that I've ever slept in in Quebec is definitely relay 22, where there's 12" to walk around the two single beds in a closet-sized room lol
