Cobra reacted to iceman in 349 St Gabriel de Brandon
Another one down.
Hello to all snowmobilers, Following a petition and after several discussions with the municipality of Mandeville, which does not seem to want to take a position, we see ourselves for the moment having to close trail 349 between St-Gabriel and the municipality of Mandeville (see below ) We volunteers have our region very close to heart and we are very disappointed with the way the situation unfolded and the municipality's lack of vision. However, we have made every effort in our power to avoid this unfortunate closure. If you are in favor of keeping the trail open and to help us, please contact the municipality of Mandeville. We hope, one day, to find our path for all lovers of this sport as well as all traders in the region. Thanks Club Moto-neige St-Charles inc. (659-08)

We took our yearly autumnal trip to les hautes laurentides region. Put on just shy of 500 miles on the batmobile. Friday’s loop took Sonny and I up to the eastern side of the Petawaga. Highlights included a moose, a fisher and a full size Winnebago towing a side by side.
Saturday’s loop stared with a quick trip into Sainte Anne du Lac for fuel with Shannon. Then the afternoon loop mom and I headed on the west side of the Petawaga until we popped out on le Chemin L’epine. We turned right and rode up to le Pensive, met the new owners, and chatted about sleds, and made our way back to camp from the top side of the Petawaga, a fox was our only sighting.
Sunday I took dad up and around Notawissi, back down to town, around the lake, and back up through the east side of the Mithcimanecus. We popped out on la route a Parent, then headed south almost to Meekoos before heading back east into SADL, fueled back up and went back to camp. Highlight was a deer. When I got back Tyler wanted to go for a rip, so I took him up to snake falls.
This morning I took a quick solo rip up to the fork for club Gatineau, then sadly headed back to park it on the trailer for the ride home.
Gas in town was 1.60, the outfitters are currently at 2.40.
I never ended up going to check out the new observation tower on top of Devil’s mountain, lots of traffic and boulder dash trails. I prefer to run the forest roads. Here are some pics.

Cobra reacted to Pipeman in Inflation
The Wall Street Journal reports that three years ago, 2019, the United States spent $60 billion on food stamps.
This year, more than $120 billion will be spent - a double. And President Biden wants more taxpayer dollars to combat "food insecurity."
Of course, he does. Mr. Biden's solution to every problem is spending more money. The astronomical federal budget has caused inflation, which makes it harder for people to buy food. Biden then offers more free food, which will ignite even higher inflation.
Great.
Joe Biden doesn't care about any of that. Way too complicated for him. But his party cares deeply. Not about hungry folks - but about creating dependence on government.
Why do you think poor Americans overwhelmingly support the democrats? Entitlements, that's why.
And, by the way, many undocumented migrants will be getting those entitlements.
Finally, if you oppose outrageous spending, you are evil, a bigot, a greed head, a selfish American who does not pay "his fair share," to quote the socialist Bernie Sanders.
So we watch our country descend into a place without problem-solving, discipline, or self-reliance.
Please vote on November 8.

They are getting away with it because too many people are busy watching dancing with the stars or following what basketball player the Kardashians are sleeping with...can't even make it up.

Zikhronah livrakha (May her memory be a blessing)
Aleha ha-shalom (May peace be upon her)
As my dearly departed mom used to say:
#1) "The first hundred years are the hardest"
#2) "In a hundred years none of this will matter"
#3) "Life is uncertain, eat dessert first"
