Certianly is the best long term sustainable option.  However this is easiest on crown land, much more of a challenge on private. A trail system crossing a piece of private land could be considered a devaluing attribute.

The good news is I was revamping several tunnel fasteners and adding reinforcements. The new Mounts will also assist in the straightening.

The mounts look like switch cheese, but I did reuse the original holes and chassis mounts.

Hard to imagine all the work ruined by an asshole...now you know why I was saying we should be fining the shit out of the idiots driving their car on trail or sleds off trail. We will soon need that money to pay these land owners...absolutely nothing is unreasonable as a deterrent to prevent this...look what's in jeopardy of being lost !!

Three snowmobilers dead after avalanche in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts
Rescuers found them several hours after the slide.
Three snowmobilers lost their lives on Tuesday evening, possibly swept away in an avalanche near Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Gaspésie.
Rescuers began searching for the three people around 5:30 p.m., when an emergency call was placed to 911. They were possibly surprised by an avalanche in the Mont Médaille sector of the Chic-Chocs.
"A team of rescuers from a specialized emergency measures team, who are trained in avalanche situations in particular, went to the area to rattissage," says Frédéric Deshaies, spokesman for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). Local firefighters and paramedics also pitched in.
The SQ initially reported two missing, but the number has been revised upwards. They were found late in the evening in the search area, in critical condition.
Unfortunately, the three men were pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to hospital. The victims were all in their thirties and from the Eastern Townships.
"An investigation is still underway to understand the exact circumstances surrounding this sad event," says Deshaies.

I completely agree with you. If they opened the trails without completing their due dilligence they leave the club, the Federation and possibly themselves open to lawsuits.

Next up was a bit if grinding, sanding and prep.

Packaged it back up in the shields and reattached it to the engine. I feel it was disrupting the pipe harmonics so much  that it just would not pull the higher RPMs.... We will see!
Now while the chassis has been awaiting a revised motor we discovered that the Rear M-20\Air Ride suspension would not collapse completely, even with no Air in .... What??? This has never happened to me before... LOL.
Anyway after loosening and tightening the track more times than I care to count, I was able to determine that the larger 1.5 Lug and 8 inch rear wheel kit were bottoming out on the Top of the tunnel before allowing the suspension to completely compress. Odd since the custom tunnel has a kick up in the rear..... Soooooo... New Drop Brackets...

I had a set of Rouski's on 2 different sleds over 7 years and never had to replace the springs.  That said, I drilled small holes in the spring case one size bigger than a lubricant spray can straw and then soaked the spring & chamber each spring and fall. Still do that on my sled.

Sure hope it doesn’t piss off any landowners for next year.

I remember reading a year or more ago about someone else with the upside down shocks on a new sled. If I remember correctly when he contacted the dealership they told him to bring it in and they would correct the issue. I remember thinking at the time that it was a pretty shabby miss on the PDI.

Chris, looking at this again, as others have said, that skid looks like it is tucked up into the tunnel.  The picture isn’t clear enough but the coupler blocks look like they are nearly touching the stops.  Are the torsion springs set?  Is the front of the skid even bolted in?  It looks like it was just removed from the crate and you showed up before they fully set it up.
