  1. Pics # 9 & 10 are cool. The size of the lumber piles from that distance really demonstrate the scale of the operation. # 3 makes me want to go for a rip…test the belt to make sure I don’t need a new one yet…lol
  2. Many of us park at the Roquemont. If you are dead set ongoing up the coast using TQ3 then it is what it is. I was never impressed with that trail, wind blown and not all that spectacular. Usually TQ3 near Quebec City is a mess. If it was my trip, I would consider using 355 or 73/83 rather than 3. Either way, come back and post some pics of your trip for us. http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2021_11/92CE7C0B-9045-4A79-8BAA-003D6E91F207.thumb.jpeg.a657392deb17fd2c7bfc7f40f7737815.jpeg
  3. I would go past 93 and take the local Pelchat trail into the valins, either way should be a good trip.
  4. JG it’s been two weeks…. We need some pics SVP mon chum.
  5. I usually make my first trip plans for the year out of sweet baby St Raymond. The Portneuf area typically has decent snow that time of year. You are close to Quebec City so if you wanted other activities for the kids you can definitely accomplish both on that trip. Granted it is a couple hours farther East for you.
  6. St Donought is not what it used to be. St Come is definitely not the logging roads you are used to north of SMDS. Xmas is tricky, some years no problem on snow conditions, other years it’s bring the old carbides and hope for the best. I would not bet the farm on St Come open for Xmas.
  7. I bought a refurbished automotive Garmin from gpscity.com for under $120. Get the ram mount and plug it in to the skidoo 12v outlet. Load the trakmaps on it and go. Never had a problem, four years running so far. I put the base of the ram mount on top of the “glove box” on the old XS chassis. I ran the mid height windshield and it was protected from the elements.
  8. It’s amazing the difference in color between the posts with Lynx’s. First looks brown, the second looks gray. Again AWESOME PICS.
  9. Awesome shots as per usual. Merci JG. I like the water pics. That is quite the attachment on the first one.
  10. They all say that. How many sleds have you sold that were registered in NY? I have sold 6 of them. Merci beaucoup
  11. You have a NY registration so you are all set. When you sell a NY sled, the registration is the title. The only thing the next owner needs to go along with the registration that you have signed on the back side is a bill of sale.
  12. AWESOME grosse poutine extra fromage chez Lolo here I come.
  13. Sounds like the border might open before Labor Day…. Fingers crossed 🤞 JG I can bring you a leather chair with off road tires to take breaks on.
  14. Great shot of Manic 5. Thanks for posting, I enjoyed the virtual road trip. I am hoping the border opens up soon. Maybe sometime after Labor Day?
  15. Hi Linda. Maybe the Riotel in Percé? I have not stayed there. It is ocean front with a view of the rock. When I stayed in mont st Pierre most of the places were summer only and looked a little run down. The Francis in New Richmond was very nice, nowhere near the shore though. How come we haven’t seen any pictures lately? Maybe I need to join the 21st century and check out the FB version? Bill tells me that’s where some of the action is nowadays. cheers George
  16. the only negative point.....they are going to harvest where i was doing my firewood...if not ....they ll be very close...they ll go out by the 16 miles rd Just put some orange flagging tape around some trees and leave a note that says: “SVP be pas couper ici”. hey you never know….lol
  17. Perfect. I will call you later so we can talk about it. 😂
  18. Did you bring your quarters to the old telephone booth? Lol
  19. Snowtrax just released a sneak peak for 2022. Yamaha motor, Polaris front end, Ski Doo tail end, clutches of your choice and is also available in green just in case you felt left out. Options include a new M-80 rear suspension. (I heard it really pops) Lynx decals. Danny ditchbanger handlebars. Johnny stand up windshield. Same company also has a new Nitrogen helmet, boasting that it fogs up instantly with or without glasses. If the border opens up by December they are offering group tours out of the Cabanon that start with a minimum of 500 people
  20. Pretty cool shot of the beaver just after a tail slap. You can see the water splash in the air. I can’t wait for the border to open up, I am patiently waiting to go out on the “cote a cote” for a nice logging road cruise. How far are the places you ride from RDL?
