Pics # 9 & 10 are cool. The size of the lumber piles from that distance really demonstrate the scale of the operation.
# 3 makes me want to go for a rip…test the belt to make sure I don’t need a new one yet…lol -

Were would be a safe place to leave a truck and trailer for a few days in Saint Raymond?
Many of us park at the Roquemont.
If you are dead set ongoing up the coast using TQ3 then it is what it is. I was never impressed with that trail, wind blown and not all that spectacular. Usually TQ3 near Quebec City is a mess. If it was my trip, I would consider using 355 or 73/83 rather than 3.
Either way, come back and post some pics of your trip for us. -

I usually make my first trip plans for the year out of sweet baby St Raymond. The Portneuf area typically has decent snow that time of year. You are close to Quebec City so if you wanted other activities for the kids you can definitely accomplish both on that trip. Granted it is a couple hours farther East for you.

St Donought is not what it used to be. St Come is definitely not the logging roads you are used to north of SMDS. Xmas is tricky, some years no problem on snow conditions, other years it’s bring the old carbides and hope for the best. I would not bet the farm on St Come open for Xmas.

I bought a refurbished automotive Garmin from gpscity.com for under $120. Get the ram mount and plug it in to the skidoo 12v outlet. Load the trakmaps on it and go. Never had a problem, four years running so far. I put the base of the ram mount on top of the “glove box” on the old XS chassis. I ran the mid height windshield and it was protected from the elements.

They all say that. How many sleds have you sold that were registered in NY? I have sold 6 of them. Merci beaucoup

You have a NY registration so you are all set. When you sell a NY sled, the registration is the title. The only thing the next owner needs to go along with the registration that you have signed on the back side is a bill of sale.

Great shot of Manic 5. Thanks for posting, I enjoyed the virtual road trip. I am hoping the border opens up soon. Maybe sometime after Labor Day?

On the Matane side, the last part of the terminal, just at the mouth of the ship there are steel decks. I was with someone who’s carbide got caught on the deck as we unloaded at night. Wheels would have been better at that precise moment. I don’t see where you need wheels for leaving from Quebec City to head up the north slope. The bridge that crosses the manicouagan river was no problem for bare skis

Hi Linda.
Maybe the Riotel in Percé? I have not stayed there. It is ocean front with a view of the rock. When I stayed in mont st Pierre most of the places were summer only and looked a little run down. The Francis in New Richmond was very nice, nowhere near the shore though. How come we haven’t seen any pictures lately? Maybe I need to join the 21st century and check out the FB version? Bill tells me that’s where some of the action is nowadays.
cheers George

Options include a new M-80 rear suspension. (I heard it really pops) Lynx decals. Danny ditchbanger handlebars. Johnny stand up windshield.
