  1. I see the FCMQ now has online available. I guess what we need from Groomer, Bill and maybe some others is the codes or club names to input so the money goes to the correct clubs per there site instructions. Mike https://fcmq.qc.ca/en/trail-permit/line-trail-permits/
  2. Did Ice go up or is this from one of your shaddy friends:)
  3. Like the close up of the moose! when do you expect to have the permits for this season as well? Mike
  4. Whats this site going to be like when pot is legalized lol
  5. Anyone try this ? the guy developing the NS1 gauge will be able to tie this in the mapping so you can see others in your group on your gauge no more wondering if they are behind you I will be ordering just wondering how far it will work but then we shouldn't be that far apart when riding unless there's a problem https://www.gotenna.com/pages/mesh http://www.nextstagegauges.com/ns1-gauge-system
  6. and likely quite Expensive for the insurance companies
  7. Nice What are you going to be riding this season?
  8. I just wish I could buy one now. It would help with the therapy
  9. Is there any word in general how the complete trail system was damaged at this point and what could be effected for next season? Certainly will be a year to REALLY appreciate the folks that volunteer in these areas and get this work completed for us addicts.
  10. Great shots, the colours in some really jump out. Thanks
  11. I have one of these as well. Might even be the same year. I believe its R&R is the name. Saw these at the Toronto Snowmobile show at the time and the deal was very good compared to the others you mentioned. The only thing I wished it had was the larger front opening but for the money I learned to live without it. I only use this one a few times a season as my buddy & I have a large 4 place we take as its usually 3-4 of us. I had electric brakes added 2 seasons a go because its safer and should be standard but no complaints. At that price I would say its a deal Mike
  12. mother nature is having quite the tamtrum this month i wish everyone the best whose effected
  13. I have the Trakmaps but looking for the GPS route of "The White Trail" Cote Nord. Do you know if this has it or where I can find such GPS routes, Thanks Mike
  14. Well I think while she's at intermission I'm going to sneak out this weekend before she comes back for the last scene
  15. I can say the run up from Saint Raymond to the Delta was excellent today. Perfect spring conditions. A little rough for about 10-15 miles but then smooth sailing. After L'Etape it was soft but a good 7/10 till the dam and then thin coming into town. Passed maybe 30-40 sleds today but we appear to be the only ones hear. We had thought about going to Le Domaine and going to Val D'Or but apparently La Verendre lodge said they got 16" this week but no grooming so we decided against that run but maybe maybe in 2 weeks. This makes the 188 days easier. Mike out
  16. We're likely off to Gaspe this Thursday and never been to Moose Valley. Understand its a place we should go/see. Appears to have 2 options. 1 from the 83 and 1 from Point a la Croix. What are these 2 routes like and approx riding time by either entry. I'm thinking we may do it on the way back so entering from Point a la croix and then exiting and off to RDL to trucks which is likely a short ride overall. Also should we be concerned about getting a permit at this time of year and if so where would be get them in advance. Any suggestions is appreciated thanks Mike
  17. I spoke to Dominic today. He says take the single lines by Martins. It's roughly 250km. Not sure if from Clova or Martins. He says hes done it and its not a bad run whatever that means. Something to consider for next season also said that trails are good but likely closing up in another 2 weeks. Expecting snow early week and will groom after but that will likely be it for tne season. Called Balbuzard and clsoing after this weekend but will be available for gas
  18. Thanks Yes that's what I'm starting to do, ask the questions. I figured some great QuebecRiders here have ventured out and could tell us the secrets. I hate being first well at least for this type of fun. I will try Dominic as well when I have a chance. Thanks
  19. Wondering if anyone has a link, details or stories of the hydro lines more specifically around Clova area. I believe some go towards Chibogamo which is what I would like to consider maybe next year Any thoughts on this is appreciated. Thanks Mike
  20. looking to save driving otherwise it may be the Forestel. Coming up from Ottawa and usually go to Le Domaine and run up through park. But only have 2 days and looking at taking a friend up that boring trail to Chibougamou and back. If I was a few years younger I would do it from the Domaine. I hate black trails so just trying to minimize ride. Option 2 is leave from Shawinigan area and do a loop up through Roberval especially now that there's new snow coming for the south section.
  21. Anyone ever stay at the motel? Thinking of trucking to there instead of val dor any thoughts appreciated thanks
  22. perhaps you could post the contact info for the flat bed & rental so we can put it in our contacts, just in case... Thanks Mike
  23. I stayed there a few years back. No issues and trail close by. I would have stayed at Drakkar as I used to go when Bernard was there. Haven't been there since reopened but they are likely more sled friendly and helpful being a family operation. Support the forums and small business!
  24. easyrider, I believe there is a detailed install for this or actually the 2757 modelon Ty in the Sidewinder forum by Rockerdan who if you don't know does a great "how to" for many items.
  25. Should I leave my sleds on the tracks while I'm looking around? :) Perfect Thanks!
