Welcome aboard M. R.

That's a lot of miles on a quad. My son has a dune buggy, after about an hour or so it's like I had enough! I would rather ride a snowmobile anyday.
-
Almost made it there from Sawinigan, but it was late in the day and someone wanted to head back to home base. :o(
-
That's a neat way to put it. So there not good for 40 years, I mean 40K...
-
Now that don't look like fun at all, I bet it put a damper on the day! I guess it could be a lot worse.

Wow, another great response. That's exactly what happened, a heavy glue like film after I tried to clean it. I will try that Crap you suggested. I wish I knew this before.... I hope its not too messed up after what I have tried to use. Thanks artcat900

This is a great reply Timbo. a lot of good infomation here. I will give it a try and see if I can get the same results as you did. Just an added note, I would not give up the BV2S just so I could use the Chatter box, but I will give this a try! I have two mouth pieces, so if I screw one up and it don't work out for me. I have a spare. :D I will share the results after I work on it. By the way, only a couple of hours? it must have took you that long to write the instructions! lol I appreacihate that. Thanks again Timbo

I have the Ski-Doo BV2S Helmet since the 04 / 05 season and love it. Some of the pluses IMO are, Very comfotable. Warm. No wind noize. Built in sun visor. (Don't know how I rode without one before) Rear light. (People who rode behind me say it shows up good) Great perefial vision (spelling?) Negitives IMO are. Its a tight fiting helmet, so make sure you get the right size. It takes a little longer to put on then a regular helmet. Make sure you put it on correctly, don't rush it. If you do not seal it up right it will ice up on ya. It took a while to figure it out. They doo have heated shields $$$$ but doo you realy need one? I bought one just to play it safe, and I could not see very good out of it, so I tried to clean the shield and it got worse. The dealer gave me another one and the same thing happen so I tried too use some compounds to clean the lense and it got some minor scractches in it and I got a little pee'ed off and put it back in the box, maybe someday I will try it again??? If you use a commnucator, good luck, I have the chatter box and could not attach it to the helmet, so I bought an extension wire so I could attach the box to my side, that will work, but then you need to put the mic in the mouth piece without having a air leak, so that went back in the box also. :o( if you ever figure out a good method to attach it to helmet let us all know. All in all, I think the +'s out way the neg's.

Thanks for all the info, Man !!!! I got my work cut out for me!! I just spent 2 hours messing around on google earth and down loading the 3D viewer. I am not a computer guru at all, so this will take some time. Maybe I will have it ready for the 08 / 09 season.

Nice pic's TDI-HAM! 22 sleds, it must be hard to keep everyone on the same page?

Where doo you get the GPSQuebec trail package? is it on a MMC or SD ? I had just purchased a GPS for this season, it came with all the US road and topo maps, they offer the Canada maps, but I don't think they have trails on them? any info on this would be great!

I thought cotton was not good close to your skin. They recomend poloyprobaleen (speeling?) I have the poloy long john setup with heavy cotton and/or fleece. I tried the glove liners and my hands seem to get colder,

I guess he don't like to ride B%$!H ? That must be a heck of a ride...
-
I am brand loyal, don't know why? But I have all Ski-Doo RPM gear, I have been out in -25 up at Valins and I was warm except for my hands. I am getting some new gloves for this season for sure. Its comfortable gear, the worse part about it is, it's quite heavy, but I feel protected with it, so I am a happy rider!

Oh, so he is human after all?

On my 800 PT Gade, I get 14 to 18. As you said "the driving style and environment" plays a big part. At the pumps, it cost me one or two bucks more then the 600 sdi's and even my wife's 550 fan. A couple of seasons ago up at Mt Vallins, we was riding with a couple of people who had brand new 600's and they ran out of gas. I was thinking they used more because they have not been broken in?
-
We all know it cost lots of dollars, I try and not think about it, just have fun and enjoy it while it last!
-
Snowed in or what?
-
How could you forget that one, that's funny stuff under the circumstances.

I did have a video (Its in my lots pics and video folder somewhere) I was holding my camara with one hand set on video and I was filming a long stretch in Sawinagan and I got the speedo for a second or two and it was at 100. I know it don't count! no proof! maybe I will doo it again this season. Edit: I doo like Robs odometer at 25000, thats pretty cool.
