  1. Bill, I thought the gathering was for the nights of Jan 18th & 19th. That's what I booked. Best, Tom
  2. Hey John, It's not the sled. It's occasional pilot error!! That's a HEAVY beast when stuck in deep powder!
  3. What a sad loss. Edgar was a very nice man & a great host. I wish him well. Wonder if he moved back to Switzerland. Lot's of great memories in that Auberge. Hope it gets rebuilt but I doubt it will. Tough business.
  4. WOW!! Another convenient fire Iceman? I really liked that place also. Great to sit around that 2 sided fireplace in the rocking chairs. Scorpiobowl just loved the food there also!! LOL
  5. Try Richard at aubergemekinac@globetrotter.net or his cell at 514-219-2010 See if you can get any information. I know he was closed all year last year. We used to leave out of his place for many years. You could also leave out of Edgar's place Auberge Le Montagnard which is @ 3 miles north on the 155.
  6. Do you recommend I get the DVD/CD or the Micro SD card for my Garmin 650t? I'm thinking the DVD/CD. Ideas anyone???????????????
  7. I thought they would book up quickly. I believe there is a hockey tournement that weekend also. Hopefully additional rooms will open up as the date gets closer. Glad I booked right away!
  8. Yo CrazySnow, You look GOOD there on a Yamaha!! How'd my baby feel? Could you feel the thunder? Was it scary for you? That's a lot of HP there!! Hey David, I stayed with the stock track & installed 152 Woody's MegaBites. Did you get yours all dressed yet? My chariot is ready to rumble! Let it SNOW!!!! Rockin Rohlman
  9. I love Rue du Petit-Champlain, the oldest shopping street in North America!!
  10. Hey GutZ, I was in Quebec City on October 8th on Oceania Regatta. Regatta is a small ship @650 feet long. We loved spending the entire day in QC. What a beautiful city! Tom
  11. Forsythe was the best. Too bad it burned down. My favorite girl in QC was the hottie behind the bar with the baseball cap on. SWEET!!! Balbuzard used to be a great stop. Loved cooking on the granite slabs they brought to each table. I don't like the current owners attitudes. Not welcoming or friendly to snowmobilers. I drive right by now. I remember Tamarac when it was a plywood shack. Great stop now with great hosts!
  12. I made the same trip by ship last month. Very meaningful that the spire came from our brothers to the north! Thank you Canada!!
  13. Route depends on what day we start. Looking for tuesday Jan 15th to be the first day of riding. This allows for a lot of options & miles before pulling in to the Delta on friday afternoon.
  14. CrazySnow & I will be riding sleds in leaving from the Shawinigan area.
  15. Hey Jim, How's business? Sandy blew things up for you? You going to the gathering?
  16. Hey RMK, Are you in the building/construction business? Tom
  17. I'm beginning to get crazy!!!!! Let the snow & cold begin already!
  18. Great work Mid Range!! Nice pressure treated posts. Should last a long time. People have no idea how much volunteer work is performed so we can ride the BEST TRAIL SYSTEM IN THE WORLD!! Thanks for everything.
  19. Hi Goose, I always use internet explorer from my pc's & safari from my ipad or iphone. No problems. Good luck!! Tom
  20. Great pics Jean-Guy!! Love the frozen drops on the twigs. Looks like jewelry!
  21. Try this company David. I have used them many times http://www.mobal.com/satellite-phone-rental/
  22. x2 on Iridium Iceman. Many more satellites & true Global coverage. Globalstar is in the process of launching new satellites but is behind schedule.
  23. Yo CrazySnow, That is one bitchin tractor. Love the brake-torques! Suprised he didn't roll it.
  24. Hey Gutz, The best thing is that it's a 4 stroke!! Look at all the $$$$ you save on that Ski-Doo Synthetic stuff!!!
