  1. I feel sad to be reading about this here, as he just lives the next town over and I never heard anything about it. I do recognize his company name, I'll keep it in mind when I need something. Thanks for posting!
  2. Great pictures, Thanks for sharing! It has been almost 30 years since I visited Crazy Horse, Doesn't look that much different...
  3. These late season pictures are fantastic! The third week of March is typically the latest I'm there, I'm going to have to re-evaluate...
  4. Jesus, I must be getting old. Between the trail shredding, skis in the air and hard left riding, I couldn't finish watching it...
  5. 0 miles here. No Quebec = no sledding. Sold the sled while the market was high & putting all my hopes into next year!
  6. Great pictures! Thanks for posting!
  7. My wife and I looked heavily at purchasing two different motel/restaurants over the last few years, one in Northern New Brunswick and one in the Charlevoix. The math is not even close to nice, It's a miracle that a lot of these places are even open at all...
  8. It would be pretty hard to go wrong starting in the Riviere du loup area. The grooming is top notch and you can put on a lot of miles and never be too far from your home base. Really easy to cut a day short or extend it, as you may find that a 150 miles is an easier day on their trails. And (pre-Covid) there are lots of trail side stops and services. The Universal and the Levesque are two to the better hotels in town. Most years the second week of March is safe for snow around town.
  9. Not what I expected for vegetation in the video. All the friggen Cacti...damn.
  10. If I'm reading this right, it says your maximum altitude was 846ft, I know zero about Aruba, but there must be some hills there?
  11. Neat App, trails look like they are coming along.
  12. The Delice has a self contained two story townhouse which is pretty good, kitchenette, etc. Food at Motel Mont St. Pierre is way better. We typically stay in St. Anne Des Mont at the Hotel & Cie. or have stayed in Grande-Vallee at the Maree Haute Motel. Maree Haute is one of those neat and clean places, not fancy. Good food, but you have to walk across a parking lot to get it. It's better than its two stars imply..
  13. Thanks! That is similar to the Kms I have gotten, 25,000km has been the max so far. I was just wondering what others experiences were.
  14. Hi Alain, just curious if you are on your original track?
  15. Nice to see those snowplow rolls getting higher!
  16. Fantastic videos Alain! Thank you so much for posting!
  17. I was happy to see that the sugar shack has new owners and have reopened in the winter. We've stopped there quite a bit over the years, always liked that spot!
  18. Hard to get used to the glass bathroom doors...might be okay with the wife..but a little strange with a foul weather friend..
  19. Nice to see that they are staying safely in the middle of trail..
  20. Looks like Lac Baker/Packington area?
  21. I was some glad to see that green warming hut one night a couple of winters ago at -28C. Took an hour in there just to start to thaw out..
