  1. Merry Christmas and a Snowy New Year to you all.
  2. We had a translation issue one night in Ham nord one night many years ago. Stopped at a gas station at closing time and 3 sleds sitting in the lot, 2 girls and a guy. They come over to us and start asking questions in french and we have no idea. After about 10 minutes of confusion we figured out they are looking for the 4th guy in there in there group. The didnt know if he was broke down or lost. Everybody got a big laugh as I used my best translation skills to tell them he stopped to take a leak.
  3. X2 Best scenery around the lake. About 300 miles if you go on 373 to Onatchaway and drop down to Alma and back on 83 to Roberval. We tried to go to the new bridge when we were up there last week, but ran out of snow.
  4. Hat off to St Ho mecanique in St Honore. Got us done in good time and reasonable price when we lost a wheel on one axle and bent the rear one.
  5. Went up Sunday and rode until Thursday. Too many people and no early grooming dont make smooth trails. Escomins and 93 down to Sacre cour pretty good. 373 to Onatchaway was groomed and set up well. Not alot of riders going over there because the Bras Louis is still plowed. Heard the are shutting down work on the power lines for the winter so maybe they will stop plowing. Also heard the Zec Onatchaway private trails are good. Had fun, but they start grooming later every year and with no snow anywhere else its getting more crowded each year. Would not want to be up there this weekend, I think we passed more than a FEW trailers headed up on our way off the mountain.
  6. Kind of a Rough looking bunch there. Please save some snow for us, headed up Sunday.👍
  7. The app shows As of Dec 6 at 1300. I know they are doing grooming at Mt Valin, but app shows nothing?
  8. Mark, those pics look awfully good. You must be getting close to retirement age? It would make you a good starting point.😀
  9. Leaving from St Raymond may have some issues in late March. Some years the last 10 miles into town go real fast that last week.
  10. I guess they want you to watch the video enough times that you will not go off trail?
  11. HATE the video, but if it stops a few from going off trail its well worth it. Can not understand why people would ride around a sign that says Stay on Trail. Stupidity or just think laws dont apply to everyone?
  12. Before the covid mess there was talk about Frank, who ran the dining area, buying the place?
  13. Looking at the online map, it looks like a major change in the trail up there. 373 now goes way north of Scooby raid with a orange trail headed down to Scooby. Maybe thats why the new bridge?
  14. Saw her on a tv interview last week, looks better today than she did 29 years ago, WOW.
  15. Quebec has been tough, cant imagine they will drop the vax requirement, but you never know. Good Luck.
  16. I will try Don, but its registered as a 2013. Maybe see you this winter?
  17. Thanks, All I need now is a yellow 1 piece suit and a yellow open face helmet and I will be all set for winter.
  18. Just like the Challengers, Cameros and Mustangs. I bet they could sell a few.
  19. Thanks Bob, took 2 1970 Olympic cowls and alot of fiberglass and rivets. Should be alot of fun this winter.
  20. Dont worry about that warning, the gas companies are doing it for you.
  21. Sorry Mark, thats not cheap. I know, because I have been called a cheap SOB numerous times. Is it worth it? You bet it is, best trails in the world. I will be there even though I am a cheap SOB.
  22. Sorry for your loss, sounds like a great guy. RIP.
