Was by the River in Grand Mere and it is staked and i see the signs at the intersection of the 23. Not sure how far up river is open. I think is just the part closest to Grand Mere. But well ahead of last year,
been kind of warm here two days just above freezing. A bit melty.

Glenngo I could be wrong but I don't think if you are from the USA you can opt out of coverage. I believe it would be foolish anyway for $42.60! Let the Canadian insurance be primary and if needed your USA policy will be secondary.

Thanks! Sorry for the confusion. I can look at colored lines on a map and assume what it means but I hate assuming. I would much rather be 100% sure I'm doing what I should be. I'm visiting an area where others live and enjoy to ride and I want to be able to leave and say my actions were never in question of causing an issue or helping in closing a trail. Just looking for the local knowledge. I appreaciate the help!

I just keep spraying it with salt water during the winter, It helps keep the ice and snow off it.

Today is $1.03 per liter. It goes up and down like everywhere else.
fuel in the bush will be much higher of course.
So right now today is $3.81 per gallon. thats Canadian money.

If only 3 days, save some driving and ride in Icemans backyard, If conditions are good 3 great days can be done out of there. One problem with 3 days in Gaspe, some have been stranded 3 days there with storms.

Jan, Feb, Mar, and early april. And if you are nuts, you can ride the mountains Dec and late April.

Well 5 days is a different story like I said.
If only 3 days with no room for extending to at least 5, then I am sticking to the Saguenay run.
The OP set it at a 3 day ride.
