  1. We passed you coming from there, we turned around at the tracks, went to find fuel and passed 2 sleds headed there had to be u. Almost dark out. Where you headed tommorrow ?

  3. Anyone know if the ferrys are running to matane or is ice a problem?
  4. Me and Eric arrived at the Escapade Sat. Afternoon . Saddled up and head to La Glaciere for the night. Trails in great shape for a Sat afternoon snowing most of the way. The place was empty for a Sat . Day 1 left for the Barrage Gouin through St Michelle up the 33 lunch at repos, jammed as usual. Up the Kanawata express sweet as could be into the Gouin befor dark. Day 2 left the Barrage for St Felician. Snowed the whole way trails great. Lunch at relais 22 135 miles took 32 liters with 8 to spare. No fuel in wemo, lot not even plowed. The 83 in great shape . Little tough to see the trail in the burn section east of wemo due to snow and drifts. Tonight at the du jardin. Tomorrow up into valins then? We shall see Those icemans stickers are showing up, seen 3 all ready! Out for now

  6. Dam those decals are everywhere saw one at repos, kanawata and Barrage Gouin Was wondering if that was you. Presently at relais 22 headed to st felician
  7. Looks like the temps are warming up a bit, We may pass ya on the trails Tom we will be at the Escapade by1pm, riding over to La Glacier this afternoon. Then up to the Gouin tomorrow night, Enjoy and stay safe!
  8. Leavin in a half hour for the Escapade, Will be ridin over to the Glacier in Zenon for the night.
  9. Just got a text from him, deep into Ontario 30 mile's from the Manitoba border, will be there shortly! LOL!
  10. Tom has his own sled, I beleive he leaves it there. We rented a 1200 from them last year for a week, New sled said they would drop off and pick up for free from the Escapade. Well after the week they came to pick it up and wanted to charge him for pick up and delivery and charge him an extra day of rental when it clearly stated Sat to Sat. After a phone call got it all cleared up. The worst part was the kid had no idea how to load the sled in the back of the pick up. He proceded to bury the sled in the ditch in front of the hotel for 45 minutes. Snow up to your nips, just what we wanted to do after a 1600 mile loop!
  11. Little fired up Tom! 290miles starting at 11am, not to shabby! Have fun! me and Eric will be at the Escapade Sat or Sun heading out for the week, still not sure which direction yet
  12. Put a jerry can on the back for peace of mind. We all carry them and have all used them
  13. Wow no food? We've stayed there a few times, I know it was for sale, I wonder if it sold or theres no food because it's for sale
  14. Wind Chill, it's probably that cold or colder everytime you ride unless your parked. or going in reverse
  15. As far as I know they dont have secure parking, they do have trail access, it's right by the river. You also have motel safari, they have secure parking and heated garage, but no bar or restaurant

  17. Hang in there JG, you know we all appreciate the hard work that you do. It's the same in the states, you can't please everyone! So don't let it get to ya. Relax, hoefully the cold and snow is here to stay this time!

  19. 30 miles East of Belleterre on the 63 in Truit Lake there is an outfitter. Nice place, also has fuel. Called Truit Lake Lodge
  20. Just a reminder, if your planning on attending the gathering to leave your name with Louise at the Barrage Gouin. You don't have to leave a deposit, so if your thinking about it leave your name and how many. looks like we should have a pretty good showing

  23. Sounds like Valins is the place to be right now. We where suppose to head up this Sunday, gonna hold off till Thur and squeak in another job. Enjoy!
  24. BJ, Thats got to be at least 12 hours. I picked up our puppy in Michigan and it took me 12 hours one way from North Jersey and the UP was at least another 2-3 hours. It was in feb and there where alot of trailers headed north.
  25. Just read in supertrax, Look for the 1200 to get three throttle bodies, three injectors and the letters HO in the Graphics. This is my 3rd and final season on my 1200 and am hoping they dont do away with it and an HO would be even better
