If Doo had a turbo on the 1200 I would have bought it but after owning two 1200's and an 800 e-tec there was nothing new in the Doo camp to excite me. I have a TD 4 stage set-up on my Cat and believe me that excites ME!

Wow, it's really getting bad.This winter we have several places throughout the province closed, burned down or for sale. Chapel is questionable, Scoobyraid, Mt Apica, Mekanic, Charlevoix club, no gas in Perce etc...We really need a couple years of serious snow and lower gas prices would help tourism also!!

The gas station in L'etape will be open it's the one at Mt Apica that will be closed unless I am confused which is highly likely.

Love mine! most fun sled I have ever owned and I have owned 13 Cats and 14 Skidoo's including 800 etec and 2 1200's. Miles of smiles with this 2012 F1100 Turbo. Heated seat was a blessing up around Matagami and Chibougamau, found it to be just like heated grips gets to warm I turn it off...That being said I did not use my reverse since Cat admitted there was a problem of course that sucked but until 2004 I never had a sled with reverse so it wasn't the end of the world and as soon as you hit the throttle on this thing I forgot all about the reverse. I must admit I had a little engine boost enhancement from TD and that worked flawless. Rode better than my Doo's handling was a toss up. Hope Doo comes out with one of these though as my one riding buddy was also my doo dealer!

That sucks! Balbuzard is not always willing to give gas at least not a fill up and expect $2.00 a liter there. If I recall last year Peter had a detour marked on the 83 to get to him (Fallion) directly then back onto the 83 after another few miles?? Oh well seems every few years a different outfitter gets their turn...

Did you complain to Peter? Bal is beautiful for sure but $125 at Fallion is a deal compared to what Balb would have charged you. Tamarac is my favorite, they don't come any nicer than Carol and Alan. It's no Balbazard or Canada Adventure cosmetically but I'll take the little places any day...

Bit of a drive for you but Kurtz Kawasaki in Watsontown is a wonderful family owned dealership. Excellent prices and service open late everyday except Sunday. (of course I say this assuming you ride Ski Doo) Gobble Gobble!

Nice trip Carol and Alan at Tamarac are as nice as they come and boy can she cook! Was Ben working at Cheval? Yeah we have found Balbazard to be a PIA we keep going past to Fallion, Peter is great guy. One good thing is should allow early grooming once it snows if the swamps are dried up!
