We like to say it is what it is. We ride our snowmobiles.  Just kick a little more in the kiddy than last year. I do cash jobs on weekends just so I can go on these adventures.

I agree about getting it fixed now. I got a new one 4 or 5 years ago and don't even know it now.  Better than the original one. My wife just her left one done in March and is walking better than years ago.  I ride my snowmobile with no problems.  Get it done.  Lol

We get better fuel mileage with our 850,s than the truck we towed our sleds to Quebec with. So my thinking is it's still better than touring with the truck. Plus it's more fun. 

Here in Clayton NY the gas was 4.23 2 weeks ago and today it is 4.65. I don't usually say anything but I want to thank everyone for voting for slow Joe. This government is crazy.

What about the smell of a 2 stroker burning Koltz oil.

How about a propane powered engine.  Cleaner than gas and a 100 lb. Tube would last a long time
  Personally I think let's get  all the cities in Canada and the United states under electric power first and then worry about our snowmobile engines.

It's so great that you are taking your son. You will have memories that will last forever.  I personally have thousands as my youngest son and I have been riding in Quebec since 2006. We try to get there twice a year.  Only once this year but it was for 10 days. Lots of miles.  
   Hopefully your boy wil have the time to go as he gets busier in his life.  Some times he may need some help but that's what dad is for.  The bond you make doing this sport is like nothing else.

They must of been going really fast. I've been on that road, it's a road not a trail, and I don't know why they didn't see each others lights coming.  I really feel sorry for them and their families.  This is not good. 
   I don't go there but have heard they have some really good trails to ride on. Just not enough area.

This may sound strange but I find that right hand corners are so much easier for me then left. My sled seems to stick better with the left ski than the right.  I just slow down to a crawl to be safe and I don't care how far I get behind.  I have adjusted the pressure on the ski and don't feel safe so there for it takes me longer to make a left hand turn.

It was the first week of February.  Little general store with out side tanks. The lady In the store is wonderful.  Let me put my foot on her base board heater.  One cold foot.  As like other out of city places it's expensive tho. That is one great trail.
