  1. Thank you for the reports. We look forward to reading them.
  2. It should be perfect but sometimes the first ride or two will show any flaws if there are any. I had a secondary spring go on my first trip. Best of luck here on out.
  3. It could be a glass half full situation. One nice hard ice base coming up. Thanks Iceman.
  4. Alain asked to see an old map on the French forum. 2000 2003
  5. In the link Bill posted it says they will use the old maintenance road. In the Google Earth shot I posted. It appears that the snow covered road zig zag's up the mountain from the north side. N47 58.676 W71 25.856 http://www.quebecrider.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3524
  6. Thanks Bill. It should be a nice view.
  7. Our condolences to the family. I remember or first time there we got stuck breaking trail from Sacre-Coeur. It was nice to sit by the fire in a friendly atmosphere. I found a photo of blackie from 2004.
  8. Thanks Bill. The pass came in the mail today.
  9. My wife has been using Gerbing gloves and socks for years. I have them powered from my sleds electrical system. The only issue is too much heat. The temp controller (optional) is a must to adjust for comfortable temps. http://www.thewarmingstore.com/gerbing-ex-heated-gloves-12v.html
  10. This would have been handy before I got my warn winch. http://www.discovery.com/tv-shows/sons-of-winter/videos/randys-bush-winch/
  11. Thanks for the video JG. The new one looks way bigger than the old. I am surprised the same docks can accommodate it.
  12. I am amazed that it stayed running while under water. I would think the intake would be full and hydro lock the engine. Do you know where that took place?
  13. https://translate.google.com/
  14. Something to think about if you are from NY. New York State has a reciprocal agreement with Quebec and Ontario. http://dmv.ny.gov/tickets/about-nys-driver-point-system
  15. Trickle down technology from a robust motorcycle race program. It looks very well thought out.
  16. A few picks a mile out of Matane. The Coast Guard out in front. When the sun set we turned back. Godbout to Baie-Comeau nice 8.5 hour ride. Always an adventure.
  17. Go with the flow tour super nice. Great photos. It is nice to meet other Quebec Riders on the trail. Maybe next time.
  18. We did the Clermont Express yesterday. 83 was fast and smooth. Nice pics.
  19. Three sleds last night. Full house tonight.
  20. From the delta 383 to 368 to 23 down to l'etape. 23 to 83 back to the delta. Perfect day. Team Iceman logo sighting again.
  21. Baie-Comeau to l'Anse-Saint-Jean yesterday. Sacre Coure to Tadoussac looking very thin. Thanks for all the lessons. I hope I won't need to use them for the remainder of this trip. 😀
