  15. let's see, 1 first one was real easy, you won't even notice if you follow the tracks, 2 between the bridges there is construction, it was real thin in that area and you snake around the site, 3 and the last one i came to (before motor issues) was in shipshaw/st ambroise near the restaurant with the elk in the sign, there is a road crossing, you need to take the trail on the left (1/4 mile-ish before the crossing) and follow that, it takes you to same crossing spot. there were alot of people out riding and they were packing and marking the trails with the groomer in Jonqueire, they expected more snow this week and next. call the HI and ask, they are real informative. also Dozer lives and rides near there, he can help with conditions. Gutz
  16. Rode out of the HI on saturday, was thin in spots, they were packing the trails, and expecting more snow this week. The closer to Mt Valin the deeper it got. Expect at least 2-3 reroutes before you get to 93. Gutz
  17. What did you hear about Chibougamou? Gutz
  18. it's a 146, and it seemed fine on the trails so far, I rode it from St Amboise (The Giant Motorhome Dealer) to the HI, It picks up the front too easily, but a little strap adjustment will fix that. Gutz
  19. Just as a quick note, the trails are being packed and marked. it's a little boney in spots, and the front desk said rain for monday???? it was 3 degrees F yesterday. The closer we got to the Mt the better it was. between the bridges was real thin in the reroute. Gutz
  20. Well, you can ride out of the HI in Jonquiere. We rode toward Mt Valin and discovered a few reroutes that are not yet well marked. The first one is between the two bridges, so be carefull as it snakes around the construction site. The second is in Shipshaw, and you need to take the path on the left and loop out and around, I wish I could tell you exactly where. The blockage is right at the restaurant/road crossing with the sign that has the Elk in the sign. The bypass is about a 1/4 mile before the road crossing. Unfortuanatly the motor in my Mach has passed on to Warrenty land and were only able to log 50 miles. We are heading home tomorrow. Later Gutz
  21. Awsome.... We are heading up next Friday AM for a quick weekend ride. Can you ride to the Moutain yet? Thanks Gutz
