Your group is aware no doubt that there is no fuel between Chibougamau and La Dore to the south. I believe its 243 km. to the first available fuel.

Thx for that. I was wondering what the red trail meant, during the off season. 
Helped plan a 9 day Chibougamau loop this coming February.
Did a 7 day Gaspe loop last year and it was spectacular. My first Quebec trip.
I'm heavily involved in the OFSC and think we do a decent job.
Quebec is a whole 'nother level.

Annual meeting (congress) of FCMQ is in Trois Riveres this year. 
There has been discussions of any tickets and specifically the demerit points that go with tickets would carry over to your drivers license for Quebec residents. That has been squashed at least for 2023. 
Alot of emphasis being put on respecting property owners. STAYING ON THE TRAIL.
this video is all in french but it should be in english too and should also be played before you can purchase a trail permit. 
Do not need to speak or understand french to understand the message of the video. 
 

Doing a little tour in Quebec.  We stay in Cabano a couple nights ago and went down to Pub de Lac for supper.  They told us at the pub they will not be open this winter.  Tonight we are the the Hotel Cie in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, the restaurant  is closed due to staffing issues and at this point do not expect the restaurant to be open this winter. The Petro Canada restaurant across the road is also closed.
When planning trips this coming winter a person should certainly ask about your favorite eateries.  Covid may be almost behind us, but things are not back to normal yet.

I was in my shop when the first plane hit. It was 2001, not 1901. The video, albeit not as good as the tech of today,  that I saw was the airplane hitting the tower. Maybe that day there was some alien tech that manipulated the video, video from many sources, but I'd need a whole bunch of convincing.
Amateur engineers need not apply to this. Shit hits the fan when a 500 km/h plane, with thousand of pounds of kerosene hits a building,  shit goes south.
Good god. 20 years later and a sled site still deals with the crazies.

thx...yaa likes tons the pics of the duck....he was in '' full sunshine ''...then moved close to the edge of the river ,mostly in the shade, because of a big tree.....i saw that coming ...great light ...very happy...
yaaa quebec bob , great office...surprising ...not much traffic yet for a long weekend...
i went by logging rd this morning ...somewhere around the  14 miles......4 c....cleaned the road of my friends and landed at their cabin just before  1 pm....they said it was 2 c earlier in the morning... .....but their cabin is very close to the river...

The good news is that it was 35 in Parent this morning and we are turning the page towards that season that we all love...and that's the only good news I have heard in a long time!!!

woke up early yesterday morning and went to help  a friend to clean his access road for his camp....i ve been stuck in a traffic jam for 20 mins
just crazy the mess bud worms made along his road....trees mostly kaputt....just grey ..

Seems pointless to be providing proof of vaccination that in most cases are in the neighborhood of two years old.  But hey, I’ll do what I need to do to ride the best trails in the world.  Like many things these days on both side of the border, it makes no sense to me.

saw a few pics of mt albert last week....still patches of snow....
i forgot to mention last week.....friday morning at work....when i take a break ...always try to stop near a stump...so , i have my front row seat ....
so, after second tank of gas.....sat on a stump.....took a cake in my backpack ......then.....bzzz...bzzz...bzzz.
there was a bees nest on the side of the stump ....but underground...next to a root ...ive been lucky...aahaha

put that little tractor on the freight train and tell the conductor to dump it in front of house !!!nice little machine
i had friends from australia at the lake friday night...great to see them ...

What's confusing is they don't require anyone to be boosted. A 2 year old shot or 2 depending on which brand you got will let you in? Wake up Canada. 

Thanks Bob, took 2 1970 Olympic cowls and alot of fiberglass and rivets. Should be alot of fun this winter.
