  1. David Philips chief meteorologist for Environment Canada said in an interview last night......"winter comes to Canada every year, it will come this year too"
  2. Those are bad situations. Not good for any equipment having it submerged like that. They have to go back to the shop and be checked over to make sure water did not get in anywhere it shouldn't. Not to mention pressure washing all the mud off. A couple days downtime likely.
  3. Very nice Mon Ami! It is awesome to see your work put up for people to enjoy and recognize you for your efforts.
  4. Great to hear you two are back in the saddle. Looking forward to reports of your adventures.
  5. I am guessing you also live by the phrase "what could possibly go wrong?". Life without adventure is boring!
  6. I have heard people say something along those lines before! LOL
  7. Merry Christmas to all my Quebec Rider friends.
  8. I believe it is going to be a busy winter in Quebec. Covid is a non issue and the US dollar is strong. Reservations made ahead would be a good idea.
  9. That is too bad. Make the first run on the groomer a big job, likely a 2 or 3 person job.
  10. Wow! That sucks. Stay away from the shoulders with those trucks, right down the center of the road .
  11. Chibougamau calling for 50cm and a possibility of 70cm according to Enviro ent Canada Weather
  12. The Grande Nature is a great spot if you have a large group, great bar/pub with a view of the mountains. I see a new spot in Ste Adelme right behind the gas and relais, all drive up rooms.
  13. Lots of areas showing from 20-50 cm snow Friday and some areas up to 70cm possible! That should be enough to start all regions.
  14. A big thanks to those volunteers that go out early like these guys. Running the groomers over this will mix the snow, water, and mud togegher speeding up the freezing process. Once stirred like this a nd a cold night or two, and the next snowfall will be something the groomers can work with. 👍
  15. You can loop the lake in a day easy. Leave your bags and come back to the same place.
  16. I will keep an eye on Amqui Can't seem to get the bearded man back on the groomer!
  17. It was fairly mild last night right across PQ so looks like limited grooming. Hopefully, tonight with cooler Temps there will be some new grooming tracks lite up.
  18. Travel the TQ93 right to the St Lawrence, cross the Saguenay River back on the 383 and TQ83.
  19. You could travel the TQ83 and stay in Clova or Parent as a second option.
  20. I see a grooming track east out of Matane and around the edge of town in Murdochville yesterday with groomers. The Matane groomer went to the La Mechins turnoff and back. Looks like the Murdochville only traveled from the garage north to the logging road above town. A good sign for both!
  21. I was thinking the shuttle at Quebec City
  22. Has anyone confirmed if this Shuttle service is still being offered?
  23. Going on a shuttle may not be the worst thing. The only downside I see is they appear to be using Tiltdecks that expose the sleds to road salt. That said, the last time I crossed in the shuttle at quebec city you could see big holes in that trailer that would let salt spray in! LoL
