Congratulations Bill!    Which trail did they name?

    Russ and Pam

Hi Russ and Pam don't hold me to this but i was led to believe it's going to be the new rerouted 383 from the dam to 368 that's been  closed for the last 2 years.

Ok found out a bit more  it's  the 368 from junction of the 23 right up to the 383 about 48k section.... we love that trail it's one of Pat's favourite...

  2. Just  for everyone's information  , Saguenay  Bill has this afternoon been honoured by FCMQ , saguenay snowmobile club and area tourism in naming a trail after  him .

Congratulations Bill well deserved  , we were let into the big secret before we left last Thursday. It is a well deserved honour  for all the work you do to promote the area.

Enjoy the day very best wishes    Gary and Pat..

    Time for a side note:

How fast do you ride or what is your average speed?  Comes up occasionally.  The typical answer is around 30 mph.  Which of course sounds slow.  Everybody rides faster than that.  I thought we rode faster too.  Over the years Sandi and I will comment on a particular day or someone else's trip and it does seem to be around 30 mph.

Yesterday the old 850 hit 400 hours on the meter.  Now is a good time to check.  400 hours times the 30 mph should equal 12,000 miles.  I took a look at the total miles and it read 12,018 miles.  I couldn't believe how close it was to the 30 mph theory.

I guess we are just a couple of average riders!

    Jack & Sandi

Your  way more  than an average riders Jack .. lol 😁😁

  4. Yer pretty sure  bill has trail passes will ask him when i see him at breakfast..

Ok I've checked with  Bill,  he doesn't have passes but the hotel DOES... so ask at desk when you arrive.. 👍

  5. Hi Padragon, trails  are great yesterday was a blue sky day -20 fabulous day to ride,  today it's  -13 and cloudy hard to see edge of trail in the fields  but still  good day to ride in.

It's  calling for ice rain tonight  and into tomorrow morning so we'll see what happens.. hand full of people have gone home today in stead of tomorrow to miss  it.

While I'm on that note sorry we missed you this morning  Joe didn't realise you were off , it was great to see you hope you have a safe trip home look forward to seeing you again.

hmmm, so maybe, if you loosen the secondary so the belt is too high in the pulley it will tighten the belt on the primary and spin the engine when you tow the sled....

Worth a try in a pinch.

    FYI stopping may stall engine.

Slightly off subject i once started a bobcat skid steer loader by towing it (not meaning to) so why not a sled stranger things have happened.  All though like you say running into the guy towing you may be a problem.... 🤔🤔        😁😁😁😁
