    PLEASE do all the top on 5 and skip the rock , not frozen for many years, so a post card would be better and do merdockville to lacache....I would not leave RDL. just trailer a little more saves a lot of time so u get more to see in gaspe.. Find secure parking, there are places and towing is available.

    ALL that PISTON LAKE said is true..if you want to sightsee u should be looking at 200 to 250 km a day with newby and have fun seeing the great sights. its not a race ,i have been there maybe 10 times and there is always lots to see.

    I actually walked right thru opening but did not drive thru because of falling rocks and rocks on the ground, u needed a helmet to walk thru. I don't remember it to be real cold but we were young and took the chance to go out , i have been back many times and its never been frozen.. as for the shot of Phazer it got a little bent up on the rear on landing. i split the sled in half and brought the rear section to a frame stretcher.
