Our group is glad we finally rode the area and crossed this bridge for the first time last year. Funny story - our group of six were on our way going west crossing the bridge, three of us were on the western downslope when here comes a group of two. We didn’t think much of it until the first guy starts up the approach about 50 - 60 feet. That’s when he finally looks up and had an oh crap moment. Then because of the up angle on his sled he couldn’t get it into reverse to back down. So parking brakes on for us and two of us walk down to help him. Let me tell you, the white plastic that they use for the ski/carbides is extremely slippery. Once you got to the middle where your track goes you were fine. We were quite out of breath when we got back to our sleds. I sure hope they get a workaround in place until something can be done to reopen or replace the bridge. Beautiful riding up there!
