Hi Gary, That was from Barrage Gouin. My 2014 trip had the best weather of all my trips. Starting from 1999. No rain or meltdowns. I hope we get a repeat.

I did this run also. There is a gas station in Kipawa. There is a sign that states 200km for gas. My odometer showed 119 miles at the swisha gas station. Kipawa Swisha

Hi Bill, We are headed to Barrage Gouin tomorrow. We were west most of this trip. Gemma says hi. Hi Don, We are doing 13 days. We started 2/22 at St Zenon. Unfortunately We are not passing by relais Iceman this trip. Hope your Gaspe trip works out.

Trails are very nice from Chibougamau to Roberval. We stopped at relais du Nord. The woman said they are open 24/7. 10th day no Team Iceman sighting. Two sightings this time last year.

Its quiet and cold. We are the only snowmobilers at the hotel Chibougamau. Ran from Matagami with some orange trail exploration. 278 miles. The trails are nice. Going to Chateau Roberval.

Thanks Iceman. Nice to see your awesome run. I put off my vacation for a few weeks. It seems the trails are getting back in shape fairly quick. We will be watching and planning.

We stayed at Fleur de Lys and was told a story of a horse drawn wagon with hay back in the day. Person came upon wolves that wanted to kill the horses. The person had to set some hay on fire to chase them away. They don't like fire.

Alain, Thanks for the report. It takes effort to be so thorough in two languages. We are grateful. Blue sky is not necessary to have a great day of snowmobiling. We enjoy seeing your (Krikri's) photos. You are ending 2013 with some very nice trips. I hope it continues with the new year. We look forward to seeing some of the sights you showed us.
