  1. More rain to come then freezing later this week, the base will be back but only thicker this time, more for spring riding, so there’s that to lighten up the mood.
  2. Awesome guys, we were at 100 Lacs doing the same stuff, did a Manaoun loop.
  3. Thanks so much to everyone for their opinions and suggestions. I’ve settled on one from Ontario from Beckner & Sons Trailers, I went with the 7 x 18 w/ 3 1/2’ v-nose, equipped it with 4 interior lights, a porch light some o tracks for the super clamps, torsion axles like everyone here suggested and bunch of other goodies you can see in the pics. Once again very appreciated to all of your contributed input.
  4. Would be real nice if the trail was groomed to the Pensive but then it would be a crap shoot to the bridge which I hear is not groomed and from my last atv ride through there it’s loaded with branches so there’s that for those of you who like to get adventurous. Then over the bridge like Je me Souviens posted its plowed and sanded to Rabaska do that’s a big no no noway going that way. Better to buzz down the 83 to the 13 and head south. The 13 south of Fer a Cheval meets up with a local trail on the left, take it, its far better than the 13 into Ste Anne du Lac.
  5. So after the Classic there’s gas at La Domaine as usual then the trail detours down to La Veryndre and back up to the reserve. Anybody bypassing the detour to La Veryndre and going straight through to the reserve like the way the trail was in the past?
  6. Does the trail pass through La Domaine still?
  7. Hah ha ha Indians told us about the hills, ankles still working.
  8. Sacreblue you sure do drink a lot. Keep it up jeune homme may come your way soon. Stirring the pot!!
  9. A lot a church talk going on there, why TF did he hammer slam his truck into that drift?
  10. Free week end in Quebec so I get the news on the interweb Linda and company are coming to town, bring your bathing she says. Tell me more, Auberge le Vieux Moulin in St. Emelie de Energie. I’m in! Saturday morning early rise, 2 hr drive and I’m there for breakfast at 8:15 to meet the crew. After a delicious omelette and some planning we’re off for a 200+ klm loop I whipped up quickly for them. Pourvoire Lac Blanc is the lunch stop, trails are flat and hard, very cold -25°C and blue sky day. Sunday same deal 200+ klms only were looping Lac Taureau, took some convincing the crew though given it was -32°c and snowing. Bottom line....you drive 10 hrs to do what??? 50 klms later we lose 2, too cold. now we’re 5. Lunch break at Auberge Lac Taureau -39°C now but heh we’re snowmobilers right! Trails are still flat and hard but further north we get they are filling up with snow. Le Vieux Moulin has what you need after a long cold day of riding, hot tub, pool, sauna what ever fancies you. It was a challenging week end to say the least battling the cold was just that a battle but I do have to say Linda’s a real trooper, never seen anyone like her, not a peep out of her the whole time, lead on she says we’re here to ride let’s go! Tough as nails.
  11. Is cuz stuck or just taking a break for a pose?
  12. Must be a blast those things, love to try one out.
  13. That’s a nice set up but Is that trailer for hauling sleds? I don’t see any floor protection in there.
  14. Not sure what you mean by that, that place was in rough shape many moons ago when the trail did pass through there, has it changed for the better or for the worse. Taking the express trail doesn’t go by Chateauvert, did you just go have a peak and zipped back or continued on to the shortcut to Wemotachi?
  15. Funny how this came up, I was actually thinking about doing an off trail ride up the old 345 through Chateauvert sometime this season, bummer it’s groomed.
  16. Wow, thought you were horsing around like the joker you are David. Dam hope it’s a 2-3 week thing, sucks been out of commission during season, wishing you a speedy recovery young man. Idea....get in your truck slip it into cruise control to RDL hang with the mayor for the next 10 days. Talk with all the QRs passing through, listen to Mikes riding stories in the evening while in the day use the pool hot tub and spa treatments. You’d be on the trail with the boys while having all the amenities of home.
  17. Got plans this week end, next week end let’s crash some partys.
  18. A 90 minute body massage will take of that Mike.
  19. Trailer ordered thanks for all your tips and advise guys. Fuse6....that rear door single latch is patented by Neil trailers so I’m told and only they have the rights to it. Stay tuned for pics in mid February
  20. I’m happy to see the trails are that nice that far south, means less of a drive for me. Lapointe Sport 1 hour to the trail. Another storm should bring southern trails connected.
