No, you will not be in that Zec. Where are you ending the day? Back in Roberval?

That probably means it was yesterdays update. Have seen updates at 1pm many times.

I have seen that happen in the past

Jack, great reports thanks for all the details. Curious, do you all put the sleds in the heated garages out back each night?

Has anyone ever stayed at La Cache du Lac in St Gabriel? Place looks nice. Just a heads up, I am finding it hard to get reservations in many places 2-3 weeks out. Thanks

A meeting was held today with Mr. Furlong to get some clarification.
The situation is:
-We only have permission to cut down nuisance trees
-We do not have a signed right of way.
-Therefore, no cleanup operation will be done on our part at this time.Further communiqués will be issued if we have any developments...
Thanks for the info, might have to do a audible now. That trail was showing Green last week, now it is back to Red.

Scared us till I saw where this is. East of Havre-Saint-Pierre. We will turn around at Sept-Iles.

We are planning a Cote Nord trip in a couple weeks. Imotoneige is showing trails all green east of Forestville. If anyone see's this is not true please post. Thanks

I get a chuckle most of the time I see what I believe are completely unnecessary signals. When a lead sled goes by with a signal, great. What I find amusing is when a sled is 20 ft behind that one and shows same signal. Even more amusing is when a group of 10 all bunched up 20 ft apart all signal. I usually do not signal because It is usually a spot where I do not feel comfortable taking a hand off handlebars.

Nice report guys. Where did you launch from in ML?

The 2 dudes at Mekoos gas pump are a riot! The big guy can even play guitar and sing very well. Saw him serinade a group inside main lodge.

This is very good news Ice!
Several solutions have been considered to allow traffic on TQ3 within the territory of the community of Pessamit this winter.
"The new trail that is currently under construction will not be ready this winter. It will just be next winter, "says the prefect of the MRC of Manicouagan, Marcel Furlong.
He adds that there have been "discussions between the band council and the various snowmobile and quad clubs." The Innu Council of Pessamit then issued conditions so that it would be possible to circulate this winter on the old route.
Among them was the presence of two surveillance officers from the community of Pessamit. "They will be patrolling TQ3 in the community over the next 15 weeks," says Furlong.
"There is no connection between the new trail and the existing trail that will be used this winter. All that is being decided right now is for the old trail that was on the territory of the community. The new trail will be outside the community, "says the prefect.
As soon as the clean-up of the debris left over from the December 23 storm is complete, traffic will be possible. Furlong plans to open next week.
It should be noted that the officers who will be hired will not have the mandate to issue statements or fines, but to ensure the good behaviour of the users of this route. Safety signage will also be installed, another condition for the use of the trail.
Finally, the MRC de Manicouagan granted $19,872 in assistance through Innovation et Développement Manicouagan for this project, which totals $24,840.

Todays Run: left Delta and headed for Mt Valin. In town trails all freshly groomed. Go across both bridges and take a right to head for 93. Trail went to 4/10. The quad trail that ran beside it was all freshly groomed, snowmobile trail nope. At least it was a short run to 93. Head east on 93, back to Mint conditions. All good to K31. Had lunch and a splash of fuel and off to St. Ambroise. 93 west to 328 west to 367. All good running. Did a loop in that area and then headed back to the Delta. 175 miles today. Not much traffic at all. Nice to sled mid week for sure.
Nice ride Oilman, did you know that you can see Mt. Valin easily from that spot by the airport? looks small from there but not when you are on top!
