Give this place a try. It’s inland from the Cap Chat area.

From 100 Lacs to Clova is 119 miles.  If you don't feel comfortable with that, you could go up to Parent to top off.  68 miles from 100 Lacs to Parent.  Then Parent to Clova - 66 miles.  Clova to Lac Faillon is 101 miles.  Another option would be to drop down to Fer-a-Cheval too top off and then go on to Clova -  96 miles.

Ski Doo's are all 1 ply nowadays.  Our group over the years has moved to the pre-studded ripsaws (ice rippers).  The only reason is to make the sleds less prone to a failure while in Quebec. Do they hook like a studded track, no way, but as long as the rear bumper passing my skis is not mine, I'm OK with it.  No issues in 8 years of not being able to get up an icy hill.
Jack - take a look at the ice attack tracks.  A little deeper lug that is pre-studded.

X2.  It's been a few years but it is a great place.  Cabins were brand new.  Will need to ride into town for food and drink.  When we were there last it was raining heavily.  They hung our suits up in their garage and brought our sleds in to dry and gave us a minivan to go to town for dinner and drinks.  Highly recommend.

    WooHoo!
We took it out and with no adjustments, it ran all day. 150 miles!
    Never Burnt a Plug.
    No NOS yet, maybe tomorrow.
It is loading up if it idles too long and is not crisp until about 6000 RPM.
Once it hits it starts pulling, we have not found a long enough run to get it all the way up to speed. The NOS should make it happen.
We will try some testing tomorrow.
    Just an Update!

Banker has an Enduro so shutting it down and placing in reverse wasn't an option.  So we watched him use the manual method.  OK, sometimes we'd help.

There is gas in Saint Dominique-du-Rosaire.  From there to Matagami is about 167 Kms (104 miles).
