According to Chapais snowmobile club there's a detour of 60 kms (FCMQ website says 30 kms) between Desmaraisville and Chapais due to logging operations. http://www.clubmoton...sentier!!!.html Thank you! We will be leaving this Sunday from Shawinigan, doing the chibougamau loop. 83 out to Senneterre then Chiboug.The Fcmq site also shows tq83 closed between Clova and Bal Buzzard. Seriously though it has been bad since the fire with drifts Your not kidding about the drifts. I broke trail there last after more than a foot of fresh snow and high winds over night.
