If anyone will be riding TQ 93 in the next weeks please give us some feedback. According to Chapais snowmobile club there's a detour of 60 kms (FCMQ website says 30 kms) between Desmaraisville and Chapais due to logging operations. http://www.clubmoton...sentier!!!.html

Thank you!

We will be leaving this Sunday from Shawinigan, doing the chibougamau loop. 83 out to Senneterre then Chiboug. The Fcmq site also shows tq83 closed between Clova and Bal Buzzard. And 93 between Lebel-Sur Quevillon and Desmaraisville. We are wondering if that loop is possible.

I just heard from Carol at Tamarac, she said the 83 section is supposed to open tomorrow 1/8/13 no word on the 93 b/w LSQ and Des.

Anybody know if TQ83 did indeed open twixt Clova and the Bal Buzzard????

I called Balbuzard today she said should be good to go by the weekend. Carol at Tamarac said she Heard two groomers were going west to Senneterre.

That would be an improvement, usually they groom at Balbuzard with a skid steer! Seriously though it has been bad since the fire with drifts

Your not kidding about the drifts. I broke trail there last after more than a foot of fresh snow and high winds over night. Very deep drifts and several times I had to stop and look for the orange flags sticking up through the snow.
