I do see colder weather for the next 4 days so Im hoping not too much damage was done. If the groomers can get out at night it will set the trails up great for the day. And hopefully low traffic. Hope you have a good ride Chris !

Some of the group are getting there later this afternoon. Our group is taking up all of Drakkar I think. Lol. There will be 14-16 of us. We are not riding as one group! I was wondering how much damage was done the past few days. I see this evening the cool down is coming and even a possible few inches of snow Friday evening. From those in the area (Don) how does it look? Was there more rain to the east or the west? I will look at the grooming maps before heading out but was curious which direction got the worst weather. Thanks. Don, if you and your wife would like to join my group (only 4-5) for a day ride we would be glad to have you. Was alot of rain Tuesday night when i came home from 18 hours of work at 2am. Rained on and off all day tuesday. A bit of freezing rain Tuesday evening then back to rain. Slept 3.5 hrs and left to go to Indy. Was warm this morning when we left with light drizzle. Still lots of snow, will be icy. Scratchers gonna be needed till more new snow. Wish i was there to ride with you guys, Caro would love it. I got her in sled training mode to be real ready for next season. Gonna go out for a trip with her first week of march. hoping for the best for your group. Coming back late Saturday night. My sled is in the garage down at work so no riding right now, are you leaving sunday or monday?
Triggerhappy
Don, we are leaving Sunday afternoon. We drove up 300 miles then rode 150+ miles. Trails were unbelievable! Went from Drakkar past the relais station up 351tp 360 north. 360 north was hard stutter bumps so we turned around ate st 500 steak house which was great then went to 302 east and it couldn't have been better. Took that to 3 then past the bison bar past the old Chez roger back to relais station. Then took a ride up the river to 23 to m3 to the central. Then back to Drakkar. Heading to dinner now. 302 and 3 were the best I had ever seen them. viper2, mcstar, PLAYHARD and 1 other 3

quebec bob
sometimes when freezing rain becomes an accumulation, rather than a melt down, it can make for some very good trails when it gets cold enough to groom it really fills in the holes and packs well, just a little new snow on top really makes for Indy car smooth riding!! It is 2 degrees here now and supposed to get a few inches of snow this afternoon/evening. I will do my best not to use up all the snow... Triggerhappy
Just got back to Drakkar and had two different shots with Reggie. Lol. Trails were unbelievable! 23, 351, 302, 3, it didn't matter where you went you couldn't find a bump if you wanted. It was perfect. A little solid in the morning but scratchers took care of that. As the day went on the trails even got better. Bigger group than usual but good riders and showed them around. Plus they were cat riders so it was ok. Lol. Great lunch and heading to get a steak now! Triggerhappy
Great ride today. Belinda and I Left Drakkar at 9am got to latuque and fueled up sled and body at noon. The river was better than expected. Scratchers were your friend though as the snow was hard. 360 was good. Some stutter bumps. 355 had some chop through the pipeline until the train tressel then it was perfect to 73 and into latuque. We left lunch in latuque at 1 and pulled into Drakkar at 5 with 240 miles for the day. 73 all the way down to 353 was incredible. Perfect. 353/23 was choppy. Not bad but not great. 302 was great to 351. 351 was a little choppy but still fast. Took it to 3 which got beat up some and then rolled into Drakkar. Shortly after Playhard rolls in with his crew. Nice group here this evening. Fozzy and JBlavl
