I guess a small dose of common sense would go a long way in these matters. It is certainly easy to understand someone being upset about being fined for being on their own property. But what is the whole story? Exactly how big is the section of trail on this guy's property? Does he ride elsewhere in the Province? The bottom line is that every sled on the trail needs to have a pass. I don't see how the cost of the trail pass could come anywhere close to covering the cost of keeping the trail system up and running. You have to pay to ride, period. However, it would seem logical that discretion with enforcement could eliminate some of these urinating contests.
