  1. Looks like you had another great ride this past weekend. I look forward to your posts every week. The amount of snow up there is almost unbelievable for this time of year. I know it will soon start to melt fast. If you do not get out again this spring I will look forward to your first trail report in December.
  2. Nice report, St Micheal and Cabanon area always rough trails in the afternoon. I always park the truck there, Trails are great when we leave (first out) and crap when we get back in the afternoon several days later.
  3. 1268 for us, only got to ride 5 days this year. Works sucks! Cant ride because of it and I cant afford to ride without it.
  4. Nice report. I been to 100 lacs 1 time and was treated good and the food was pretty good. Sad to hear you were treated so poorly. I was there between 11 & 2. lol! I think they stop grooming early due to the lack of riders, trails pretty much deserted from what has been reported. Groomers burn a lot of fuel, lot of money to spend for only a few riders. I have already planned a trip the 2nd week of March but no later. The weather is just to unpredictable anymore.
  5. You convinced me OK! But Ski Doo made the decision easy. No quick adjust with the Adrenaline package. So I will have to reach underneath to adjust. Both Polaris sleds gone as of this morning will be a Loooong summer.
  6. Thanks for finding that Groomer. That is a good reminder for everyone! Looks like every one was OK!
  7. I will have to wait until Saturday to decide. I need to know what my dealer will do on the trade and what he can do on the price of the new sleds. The only price I have right now is the MSRP shown online, which I hope is a bit higher than the actual price.
  8. It all adds up quick for me! I am buying 2 of them so everything is double! I have to keep Sharon happy after all or there might not be a next season. lol!
  9. Thanks to all who responded. I do not normally adjust, but I never owned a Doo so I wanted some opinions on the rmotion. The rear shock on my Polaris was easy as it was located right under the seat and once set up I only adjusted it one time. The front shock clicker is located down low at the bottom of the shock and due to some rough trails I wanted to give it couple clicks but it was iced and I could not turn it. It looks like the front clicker is located high on the rmotion so It looks like you could still turn it if you had to after several days of riding. I will take a closer look on Thursday when Ski Doo is in Fogelsville PA. Unfortunalely no demo rides down here.
  10. Pretty much what I was thinking for trail riding. Get it adjusted and just ride. I think I will go for the 3rd year engine warranty instead. After all I plan on keeping these for a while that is why I am going with 4stroke.
  11. Anyone with the rmotion quick adjust system. Once you initially did your set up do you adjust frequently or was it a set it and pretty much forget it? Will most likely do my spring order on Saturday and I am trying to decide what I need and what I don't.
  12. My guess is that Dennis will groom. Call and ask 450-884-5762
  13. Nice! Looks like you had a good season.
  14. If your dealer cannot resell it in less than a year he will lose money. Try going north, Central NY? More snow, more riders, more sales. Did you get to ride the new 900?
  15. Great report, really did not expect conditions that good that far south. Please let us know how many miles you end up for the season. Looks like snow after the rain this week. I will look forward to your next report.
  16. Congradulations on your successful season Bill! That is a lot of miles considering the up and down weather in January. I think you have me convinced the ACE is the way to go. Later this month I will be trading both of our Switchbacks on the new 900 Renegades. Maybe we will finnally get back up to the Delta next season.
  17. If anyone gets a chance to try out the 900 let me know what you think. I am not looking to race anybody on a lake either. I just want a reliable engine with good fuel milaege that I can ride for 5 years. I was going to head up but i decided I am not driving 290 miles 1 way and then maybe not even get a chance to try one. I will go to Fogelsville and just take a look at them.
  18. Sorry to hear about your problems! Been there a few years back. IT SUCKS!
  19. I have been brand loyal for 25 yrs. I was at the Doo dealer today. Second Saturday in a row! I doo hear a lot of good things about the rmotion.
  20. Any one interested in seeing the new Doo's. There is not a show in Pennsylvania for all manufacturers so Ski Doo will be holding there own Sneak peak. 2014 Ski-Doo Sneak Peek Come check out what’s new for 2014 in the Ski-Doo Lineup March 21, 2013 4 PM to 9 PM Holiday Inn Fogelsville Route 100 and Interstate 78 Fogelsville, PA 18051
  21. Please remember that Martine at Windigo told us the trail was not groomed and sure enough we could not find a groomed trail. She also told us it was 10Km's or 6 miles to 73 after we got off the lake and sure enough it was exactly 6 miles we came out on 73. Maybe we had the wrong trail! I am not sure now, but the gps traks shown on the earlier post is the way we left the lake. It was 11 days ago since we went there, maybe it has changed now and the trail is groomed. Not sure! If it truly was Duplessis that I came out to it looked like there are cabins ect. there to rent, like you would normally find at an outfitter. Nothing at all was plowed around his house or cabin, just a couple old set of snowmobile track covered with fresh snow. I did find the dog (black lab)first then the old man but were was the naked women, I did not see her. lol!
  22. Sorry to hear about your loss! If they want it bad enough they will get it! I know exactly were the Benny's you are talking about is located.
  23. I think you took 33 south from Manawan to SMDS, as GT Rider stated this trail has been ungroomed and closed most of the season. I believe it had also been marked closed unless someone removed the signs. Sorry to hear about all the bad luck.
  24. The Nordic in Chibugamu, make reservations! I would stay at the Tamarak in Clova and then stay at Windigo instead of Relay22 make reseravations for both. I never stayed at Relay22 just a gas stop for me, I like Windigo. As for early March you should be good, but with the weather the it has been the last couple years you never know.
  25. Phil you make me laugh! You need at least another 400 sleds to be even close to tug hill!
