I would like to see added to this is
-Hospitalizations (ICU Level due in part or whole to Covid19) ( Kind of a living hell )
-A list of long term effects caused by it and how many affected.  (Separate Sheet)
I know it sounds a little redundant, if you survived, you survived, take the win.
But I think living with these Odd Ball Effects are\could be just as bad.
-Dead Lungs, Amputations, Kawasaki's Type Disease in Kids, Pulmonary Issues, Months in the Hospital, etc....
Surviving this for some may not be a real Win.
Sometimes the Numbers don't tell the whole story.
The Concise Graph is very good, an at a glance\single pane of glass. I dont like the Drama in the News, but sterile numbers detached from the Human Costs dont feel very human...

The comet is higher now, but starting to fade. Took a close up shot, and had another shot with a meteor in it. You can tell it’s a meteor and not a satellite, because the color changes as it enters the atmosphere. These are likely the last shots of the comet, but there is a meteor shower coming up.

I agree the small outfitters are a nice experience when saddlebagging.  But for staying in one spot for two weeks and doing day trips, I enjoy the amenities of a big hotel and a town with lots of restaurants and bars. I have had nothing but great experiences in RDL.

It’s much easier to see at night, for now anyway. A couple hours after sunset look just above the horizon where the sun set.

    from sopfeu.....posted this morning
The fire has not progressed for a few days. The area is adjusted according to the work carried out by the ground teams, so it is normal for it to vary a little and it is the same for the perimeter. Currently the area is estimated at 62,211.4 ha. The perimeter of the fire is just over 200 km.
The fire is considered "Content", which means that its progression is stopped, at least temporarily. The work of extinguishing the hot spots located on the perimeter to the northwest of the border made us progress in the control of this one.
From the start of the week, the weather should change. With heat and dryness, the fire could wake up and resume activity within the perimeter.
Nearly 280 people work at the fire site. This includes ten sections of twenty forest firefighters from Quebec, Ontario and Alberta, the major fire management team, pilots and personnel from certain suppliers who support operations.
Today’s temperatures will be cool, the relative humidity will be fairly high and the winds will be light. This will facilitate the deletion work.
Due to the weather conditions that we have had since Thursday, the fire has no activity (it is dormant), which allows the forest firefighters to work to consolidate the borders in order to surround the fire inside its perimeter by watering hot spots.

“Ultimate Arctic Cat Journey” is Complete
with Warm Welcome in Thief River Falls
Bob Steeves, an avid Arctic Cat snowmobiler, has talked about snowmobiling from his home in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, to the Arctic Cat plant in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, for the last 40 years.
Last week, Bob, 80 years old; his son Lorne; good friend Trueman Copp, who is 74; and Trueman’s son Trevor completed the more than 2,800-mile, “Ultimate Arctic Cat Journey” to Arctic Cat’s headquarters in Thief River Falls, Minn. The journey was completed on three 2018 Thundercats and a 2020 Riot 8000.

“We ran into so many people who recognized us when we stopped that were following our journey. It was amazing,” said Lorne Steeves. “We had no issues with the sleds, they were bulletproof.”

The journey took them from Moncton, New Brunswick through Quebec where they crossed the Ottawa River into Ontario. In Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, they met Arctic Cat dealer River City Motorsports who drove them across the border. Once in the United States, the foursome headed across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan into Wisconsin, and then into Minnesota.

When they arrived in Thief River Falls, they were greeted by current Arctic Cat employees and former executive and Hall of Fame member Roger Skime with a banner signed by the plant commemorating the epic journey, took a plant tour, and enjoyed dinner with members of the Arctic Cat team.

“We had such a warm welcome from everyone at Arctic Cat. I’ve never met such nice people than those working in the Arctic Cat plant,” added Steeves.
The memories of the two-and-a-half-week journey will last a lifetime and is a true testament to the passion for the brand that only Arctic Cat snowmobilers understand. #UltimateACATJourney
