  1. Very sad when someone trying to save the lives of others becomes a victim.
  2. There are gas stations along the trail that don't show up on the app. I understand that a station likely has to pay to be there but it would be nice for planning The app tends to route you the shortest way, sometime we want to go the longer route. Maybe a button to turn off shortest route.
  3. You have lots of blowdowns. You will not have to go far this year for firewood. You don't often get much help, a lot of work to get that all cleaned up.
  4. Looks like it would be tough chewing in places, lots of snow. Hope you can make it to the cabin soon.
  5. Nice pics as always. St Alexandre, is that the one outside Amqui where they built the glass bottom viewing platform?
  6. Holy Crap Batman you still have a lot of snow! We were out on the new bike this weekend. No snow on the low lands, very little in the hills. Great moose pics!
  7. I am glad to see you watermarking all your pictures. I have been out with you many times when your taking pictures and understand how hard you work to get the few pictures you feel are good enough to share with your friends. You deserve all the credit for these. Thank you again for sharing them.
  8. Happy Birthday Mon Ami. You are older then me again. LOL Some really nice pictures. We have missed your pics.
  9. Pretty high end resort, +/- $300 per night.
  10. Iceman is right, they have a gate up at the mouth of their road to keep our kind out. LOL It has a high end non motorized clientele.
  11. HCS that is certianly a while back.

  13. The orange trail are usually the hidden jems.
  14. I have rode that trail 4-5 times, luckily enough groomed to perfection every time. Awesome trail.
  15. Sounds like your crew had a great ride. It would certianly be special to have your grandson along fo sure. I always like it when you meet other QR members on trips and can put a face to the username. I rode Trail 150 back in February it is a awesome trail and takes you away from the Pin Rouge area and heavy deer populations. Thanks for sharing.
  16. I have also heard good reviews about Auberge Garre. Have eaten at the Stela twice both times it was excellent. Both places are right beside the trail.
  17. Great detail and pictures Jeff. You make us jealous going for a month non stop. One thing about snowmobiling, you can always count on is changes. You highlighted that in a few places. Thanks for sharing with QuebecRider. Have a great summer on the water.
  18. It is great to see you back posting on QuebecRider. Many readers have missed your very informative day by day updates and critiques of lodging and food. I had never heard of the Train Cars in Bristol, thanks for sharing. My group experienced Aubergue L Amarre a couple weeks back. Definitely on the list of places to stay now. Keep up posting, I can't help but to think one highlites is just around the corner.t Great to read your updates again. Steven
  19. Bob that is great news. St Paulin is certainly an icon of the Gaspesie snowmobiling adventure.
  20. Hi Jeff, It was great to get together and have an evening sharing stories. Picking the new bike up this afternoon. Next year we will plan better and ride a day or two together.
  21. Have you guys stopped at St Paulin Relais to find out the story there? Is it under new management?
  22. The 373 still shows open and good conditions. I would recommend they try that trail while up there. An amazing trail !!!
  23. I have never thought the owner had much of a personality. Half thought it was because we were English. That said, have stayed there on several occasions and sometimes down in the bar at night is an excellent atmosphere and he seemed quite hospitable.
  24. Glad it worked out so well. Amazing how locals help snowmobile tourists by going above and beyond.
