    Day 9
Fresh grooming out of Matane, stopped at the Chap Chat clubhouse for coffee. Trails a mixture of quality as we moved on.  Stayed in Mont Louis, a new place none of us had tried before.  It was full of sleds that night.  Certianly recommend Auberge l'Amerre.
    Day 10
A short day but beautiful, down through Murdochville (40 sleds lined up out front) for breakfast, LA Cache, to New Richmond and the Fin Gourmet for the night.
    Day 11
New Richmond to the truck, 100% fresh groomed all the way. Had to take the picture of the train crossing with lights on the sled trail.  I did stop here last year for a train.
3500km  Trails anywhere from plowed road to 10/10 as you would expect.

Been here since mid morning yesterday. As always it lives up to it’s billing.
Yesterday was damn cold but big fun. Near zero all day. Felt colder somehow. Trails were hard and fast. Some were so hard and flat it was scratchers down, seat and hand warmers up !
Today a little warmer…left at 3 degrees…not sure what it topped at but single digits and sunny. Looked for bumps anll day but no luck.
Awesome 2 days so far. Love these trails and clubhouses ! Heading to downtown RDL for dinner soon. Back at it tomorrow. Home Sunday AM.
Back here in 2 weeks for 4 nights ! 😎

Pipemaster, did you ride north of Moose Valley?  Its incredible in that direction.
Looped St. Pamphile  today. Trails incredible. Coffee and lunch breaks. 210 miles and back at 3:00.
Drinks with Padragon, Eastmark and Lisa. Great evening.

I believe there is a trail into NB below Pehonamook (spelling) but not positive. It would be before you get to trail 85. After going by Chevlellier Frontier clubhouse, a few miles later  trail 35 makes a left and straight I believe goes to NB.  Also you could  go further east  and about 15 miles past Squatec leave trail 35 and head south to Moose Valley, NB. Trail 85 going into NB is a very long RR bed.  Squatec to Moose Valley is epic.

As an elderly man was at the cemetery bidding his wife farewell,
the graveside service just barely finished, when there was a
massive clap of thunder, followed by a tremendous bolt of lightning,
accompanied by even more thunder rumbling in the distance.

The little old man looked at the preacher and calmly said,
    'Well......she's there.'

An old man goes to the Wizard to ask him if he can remove a curse
he has been living with for the last 40 years. The Wizard says,
'Maybe, but you will have to tell me the exact words that were used
to put the curse on you.' The old man says without hesitation,
'I now pronounce you man and wife.'

As a senior citizen was driving down the freeway, his car phone rang.
Answering, he heard his wife's voice urgently warning him, 'Herman,
I just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on
Interstate 77. Please be careful!'   'Hell,' said Herman,
'It's not just one car. It's hundreds of them!'

Wife and I were heading back from New Brunswick and spent the night at Long Lake Inn and ran into Bill and his wife holding court in the lounge . He looks good for his age . I hope I’m riding when I get that old !

Just to finish up the report the ride back was great as well.  Took a little bit of TQ5 before dropping town to TQ35 then to 557 to Pamphile.  Took a  small detour and went through the Parc du  Massif Sud to the lookout then to St Sabine for late lunch.
There was a good view from the lookout tower.

Moose Valley lived up to its name today as moose caused us grief to and from the sporting lodge! Good thing we had "Gary the moose whisper" with us!!! Today is the last day of riding for me this trip. So good to be back here and riding with Mike, Jeff and Gary. Until next time!

Can I explain my reasoning this year to getting a 7 day pass versus buying a season pass early before deadline . Every year we have come to Quebec snowmobiling we purchase a seasonal pass and we only come up snowmobiling for 7-10 days . This year was different due to my health we did not know if I would be able to go or not till  after December.
So yes I agree the seasonal pass is the way to go before December and next year we will be purchasing early for sure, I am not on here complaining about loosing Money on trail permits, and first 2 nights of lodging, I think it is only fair for the lodging to charge me because they could have rented them out .
I am more upset about not doing what we love to do and thats snowmobiling in Quebec ,So all we can do is let it go and look forward to next year enjoying what we love to do
Hoping the season is long for people snowmobiling in Quebec

Fu*&er came out of nowhere OVER the bank UP on the trail with me doing 75+. I figure by the time I hit him I was doing 60+
his body wrapped around right side and kicked up into the air EASY 10 ft where he came crashing down in the middle of the trail with a broken back.
I stepped off the sled, reached in my pocket for my camera (yes it was a camera back then LOL) and took this pic
Shit was all over my bibs too

After a VERY successful trip with mon ami Glen from Vermont that trip....THIS happens 60 miles from the truck on last day at high noon on a railbed trail. Look closely at the deer hair under left lower windshield area.

Great ride today to RDL from beauce. 55 was perfect to pamphile, 557 north was ungroomed but had lots of fresh powder making it the best trail of the day. 526 in to RDL was great too.

Hopefully tomorrow is just as good!!
