  1. This fall I did plumb my 4 gallon auxiliary tank into the system, a very easy job. I am now able to run 200 miles and eliminate the weight of that 4 gallons of gas from the rear of the sled as that fuel is used first. Cost about $20. Just tested it for our 1,100 mile loop worked flawlessly.
  2. Keep them coming Mike. I recall Rob creating QR to share ride stories, places to stay things to see trail conditions a place to find riding partners, etc. I believe he would want that to continue. The second we were asked for donations to help run the place I paid, I would double the asking donation if requested. You don't go snowmobiling to save money.
  3. This place is going to go the way the the rest of the .coms at this rate. FB will ultimately win. So sad it use to be fun here.
  4. So anyway, Don I am glad the new front suspension is an improvement, I was going to ask but you had already stated it is good. I want to hear about the BC 850, did Snohorse get the 1.6 or 2" track? Does he think the 146 is too long? Wish I had one of them last week when we were breaking trail on the 23 from St Ray to Le Tape. There's a lot of snow up there. That sled is on my radar for a Spring Purchase. Can I go back to a two smoke???? Thanks and have a great ride head to the Mount there is a lot of snow there also.
  5. We were the other group there yesterday.
  6. My guess is they were/are a wet mess and riding them will just do lots of damage. East/south of the St Lawrence is very wet and maybe this is the problem there also. If that's the case they should tighten up quickly been very cold again.
  7. Groomer posted this, worth a look. http://www.sapin-dor.qc.ca/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=23&Itemid=40 83 should be good the 3 not so much from what I read.
  8. There is also a sled dealer in the front parking lot of The Roquemont, they sell passes. http://www.performancevoyer.com/fr-CA/accueil
  9. We left from St Raymond Saturday morning and 23 north had several feet of NEW snow, continued to Mt Valin via Lac St Jean and there is just great snow. The building is Passion and the ground is all white, get up here and get some.
  10. We stayed March 2015 very friendly, one guy broke and got a ride with sled back to Levis. Not for the weak of wallet I thought it was pricy but what a view.
  11. An old fashioned Gaspesie snow storm. Looking forward to seeing the drift pix.
  12. Thank you Mid Range I was just as curious as to access to ice and back to trail, figured it would be thick enough. That can now be part of our planned route on 1/14. Happy New Year
  13. Anyone have any intel on if the ice bridge is in place or when it may be? I've done some searching but no luck. Thanks
