Pipemaster
Heading up with the Bride in Feb for a couple of days at the Winter Carnival in QC City and ride for 3 days. I was wondering if anyone has stayed at or has any feedback on the Manoir du Lac Septisles in St Raymond. I figure we can leave truck and trailer there and hit the trails for a couple of nights. Thanks Dave & Sharon
markusvt
You could stay at the Sheraton. Be in Quebec City, the Ice Hotel is right there too. Quebec Inn is nice too, lot's of nice places to eat and go close by.

Thanks Dave & Sharon We parked there a couple years ago, I believe it is the type place a woman would love. Stayed the night we returned, fine dining and expensive beers. Each room was different and very nice. There is no corral but it is sort of out of the way and everything was there upon our return. There was a large group of European's there. MXZ700RIDER
My wife and I stayed at four points Sheraton 1x. It has an awesome outside heated hot tub. The ice hotel which is in town is a must see. You can actually have a (shot) in a frozen ice shot glass there...or a beer in an ice mug I can't remember? People actually stay in the ice hotel. Not for everyone...and we never did it, but it seemed interesting that's for sure. The one time we went up to Q City....they unfortunately had an off winter and poor snow depth....otherwise our trip was fun. Lots of good places to eat in town and a good pub with 100 different beers selection! Have fun!
im4snow
My wife's a non-sledder, but I always wanted to take her to Canada once during the winter so she could experience what I talk so much about. The winter carnival might be my opportunity to get her to Canada, and I'd love to reserve a day to rent her a sled so we could tool around the trails. So, to slightly expand this topic a little, any suggestions for a good place to stay with the wife, but perhaps near a place that rents sleds......in or around Quebec City??? Thx, John

Pipemaster
I want to thank ALL of you for your input, pics and info. The plan is drop off trailer and sleds at Manoir du Lac Sept Isle on Sat and head into Old QC for the night and spend Sun at festival. We'll hit the Ice Hotel on the way back to St Ray and spend the night at Manoir LSI.Mon. Mon hit the trail for 2 nights ( where ever the trail takes us ) and back to St Ray. Thanks Again, Dave & Sharon
