Good luck and have fun.....eagerly awaiting your reports back. The northeast region still shows all red so I'm hoping you report back something more optimistic.

Just book the cruise im4snow.. Go for it !! A little rain and warm temps for a day will make a good hard base..

We rode from Rimouski to Albertville today, we had great riding, good riding and some not so good. But we were riding. The most snow we saw was in Groomers area. Nice snow cover and the best trails Hats off to groomer! Left a note for you at the club house. A great lunch, awesome vegtable soup and Chicken Club. Low snow as usual in the Rimouski and Mont Joli areas. Here is a few of the pics on our 255 mile ride today

Groomers trail above, the best qe rode all day!

Weather.com shows temps dropping Tue and staying down. Also shows some snow Wed for R-du-Loop and higher snow amounts (also Wed) for Gaspe (town of Gaspe). So we shall see.....fingers crossed the rain amounts aren't a washout.

So checking the conditions here: http://sledmagazine.com/actions/showConditionsSentier?request_locale=en.....it seems many clubs updated today and many are still green (or at least yellow) in the Gaspe region.

I hope this means the rain wasn't as bad as other parts of Quebec and when coupled with this Wednesday's forecast for snow maybe things will be good for much of the region???

Any more info would be much appreciated.

Hi JG

We are hearing of a ban on studded tracks in QC (unless it is a prestudded track like ice ripper and such) ?

Reports are that QPP are charging sledders at road crossings for having studs??

Any truth to this ?

Supposedly Club Executives have been blindsided with this.

Thanks

Hey JG,

How much new snow in the last 24 hours? Still snowing now? Is that last pic from today?

We are driving north tomorrow morning. Will follow the good snow & trail conditions for 8 days of riding hopefully!

Might be in your neck of the woods early next week.

Best,

Tom
