MaineRider
Coming to the area for the first time and was looking for suggestions on loops or places to see on the trail. We will be riding from Mt. Valin on trail 93. We usually cover 200 miles a day or more when we are out. Any suggestions would be appreciated and any recommendations on great lunch stops would be nice also.

Snappy Hank
You may want to try the St Zenon area, if this is your first time to Ca. Plenty of accomadations good trails and a short trip from Maine. Snappy Hank
Saguenay Bill
If you want to come to the Saguenay stay at the Delta. I cam help yout with daily trips of 200 miles per day. Staying at Mont Valin will limit you to daily loops. I stay at the Delta most of the sledding season and know the area very well 182ray, Magnus and Florida Snowman

Saguenay Bill
Just noticed you are from St Agatha. Ask Ken L about this region and me. He is a friend of mine.
benz500
I stay at the Delta every year and its great. Bill has first hand knowledge of the conditions daily and knows every trail, even the ones that nobody knows. He is happy to help you with planning trips out of the hotel wherever your destination may be or day loops, including mileage, gas stops, restaurants, lodging etc.. If Bill offers his services, like he always does: take him up on them!!!! I think that area offers some of if not the best trails and scenery, the grooming is always great and their is always low traffic. Have fun and go to the Saguenay and the Delta. 182ray
Don't bother with Old Forge North (St Zenon) coming from Maine you'll be passing through a lot of prime riding areas
Pipemaster
Delta and Bill are the way to go ! You won't be dissapointed
MaineRider
So we are staying in a cabin on the mountain. This isn't my first time to Quebec, just going to a different area to ride to change it up. Also there are 8 of us and a couple of the people don't want to ride everyday and they plan to ski some so this seemed like a good place. Bill if you have any suggestions from Valin it would be appreciated. I don't know Ken in St Agatha, this is just where my camp is so I joined the local club that grooms by my place. Thanks
Grampsledder
We recommend the Pelchat Trail. It would be a full day loop from Valin. Check for exact directions but take 93to the eastern most orange/local trail in Valin. It is around 60 miles from the start to Les Escoumins. I don't believe they groom it. We did it on a sunny day last March. It was beautiful. I wouldn't recommend it in bad weather, it is remote. Some of the other followers might have more details on the Pelchat. Screen shot from our app maps below.
Grampsledder
They do groom the trail. It's the orange trail above 93.
