Other than feeling like an idiot there must be no consequences for doing this...sledding is a national sport in Canada...but nobody seems to care if Larry takes his car out on the trail and wrecks it or leaves it over a blind hill in the middle of the trail and kills some one ...but the moment a sledder goes out of the marked lanes ...all hell breaks loose....it should become common procedure in the spirit of safety ....that the groomer responds immediately...puts the blade down and moves it off the trail....and accidentally rolls it up on its side or tips it over....if this were the practice....word would travel fast to stay off the trail
