I replaced my perfectly good Oxygen shield with the Flo shield. Seals the same as the plain shield. The extra bit of airflow is nice.
I wear Klim Klutch boots. No issues with cold feet, but I don’t usually have that problem anyhow. The BOA system works great.
Question - are you riding a G4 or G5 Ski Doo? Since the G4 came out there are large snow evacuation holes right under your feet. I covered mine up on my first G4 back it 2020 after seeing much talk about cold feet. On a saddlebag trip in the Abitibi area I noticed my right foot getting cold. The pad that I made was gone. Now all I do is use gorilla duct tape on the underside and on the top. It has never come off. The cold hitting you in the bottom of your boot is very noticeable. A couple of guys in our group that didn’t cover theirs up use heated socks.
