❄️ NORTH SHORE: A DIFFERENT KIND OF WINTER AHEAD FOR SNOWMOBILERS!
The closure of the Manicouagan Bridge by the Quebec government’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests (MRNF), which owns the bridge, will have significant repercussions on the economy and snowmobilers’ travel this winter.
For tourists wishing to travel east of Baie-Comeau, the Matane/Baie-Comeau ferry is now the only way to continue their journey to areas further east.
The Trans-Québec 3 (TQ3) trail is cut off at the Manicouagan River (west of Baie-Comeau)
👉Behind every trail are snowmobilers, clubs, volunteers, and an entire regional economy.
Let’s hope solutions will be put forward to limit the impact of this bridge closure and allow snowmobilers to fully enjoy our magnificent region this winter.
